We hired Outer Banks Boil Company for our wedding in September, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we walked into the shop in Oak Island, Josh made us feel like friends. Not only did he help us out with food and catering logistics, but he was a resource for other recommendations of vendors or service providers on the island. We honestly couldn't have pulled together our wedding-day team without his recommendations. He and his team were the epitome of professionalism and kindness throughout the event, and everyone was so impressed with the energy they brought to our wedding day. And the food...the food was out of this world. Our guests said some of the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Highly recommend Josh and OBX Boil Company for any event you are having on the island or on the coast, you and your guests will be in for a treat! Had hoped to experience dining take-out here on our last few evenings of vacation... Discussed with the family throughout the day to experience something different.. Finally decided on a couple 'pots' everyone could agree on...Placed a call to order.."No answer...again..No answer..Again..No answer" Thinking they may just be busy...tried one last time. "Hello..?" Not a business greeting. Thought I had the wrong number. So, I asked "Is this the OBBCompany?" "Yup...we're closed. Calls are forwarded to this phone". We had a big family gathering while visiting Oak Island, and opted for the catering service from the Outer Banks Boil Company. We were thrilled with the food and the service. It was the easiest "party" I have ever hosted. Everyone raved about the food. Josh and Lin arrived an hour before as promised, and cooked the food outdoors. They brought everything (utensils, napkins etc.), and poured out the boil on a disposable table cloth on the kitchen island and everyone served themselves. Josh was so helpful in helping us determine the correct quantities ahead of time. The ability to do a "side pot" because of an allergy was priceless. And we really appreciated the quick and easy clean up. The Outerbanks Boil experience really enhanced our beach visit. You won't be...
