OKI Scoop Shop and Donuts — Restaurant in Oak Island

THE PRICES BOARD SAID TRIPLE WHAT A DONUT COSTS. A scoop of ice cream was EVEN MORE THAN TRIPLE THE PRICE. Not sure where this prices came from?

I thought the donuts were homemade or something. But they looked very small, as the ones that come from the supermarket. I do not recommend this place, unless of course if you don't mind being over charged for Supermarket looking donuts.

The owner seems to become argumentative on prior reviews, however there's a reason why we "the customers" are able to write reviews, is not to get a response with your opinion. Or your alternative facts. The purpose is so other people will not walk into your business without knowing how bad it is.

No one cares about your opinion, hot fudge should be offer, and not what your opinion is about it.

In stead of wasting your time arguing with us the "customers" how about you place the same effort improving your products.

Once again, no one cares about your opinion, I'm not writing this to hear from you "the owner", because again NO one cares what you think.

I'm really glad we decided to try this place out!!! I saw it when I went to the grocery store across the street, and my family and I are just here for a week vacation. OKI makes their donuts to order, even though they only have a few different types in the glass display. So all our donuts came out very warm and fresh!!! Also the guy taking orders learned that it's my nephew's birthday and he gave him a free donut!! The lady that called out his name when our order was done also wished him a happy birthday, so thank you guys very much because you made his day start out amazing!!!!!! So when you walk in, you grab an order form because they have certain donuts they make all the time and you can also make your own donuts as well. There were a lot of people ahead of us, and I thought it would take a long time, but it only took about 15 minutes to get our order done! The donuts also taste like a cake donut that's very soft and fluffy. They were really yummy and apparently my family felt the same way, because we devoured them all!!! So try OKI donuts out!!! I’m at a point in life where bad customer really annoys me. I’m giving you my money, the least you can do is give good customer service. I walked into this place today and there were 5 people working. One young lady was up near the register working with some icing, putting it into a container. The other 4 were in the back talking , which they could still see me when I walked in. Two of the girls in the back looked me in my face multiple times and still decided not to do there job. The young lady that was working looked back at them like are you guys going to assist the customer and no one decided to help. So, She stopped what she was doing to help me because I guess their conversation was more important than helping the customer. When I confronted the only male worker upon leaving all he did was deflect. Which I knew was going to happen. I wasn’t greeted at all. Not a peep. This was my last time coming here !!
