I went here Saturday for a permanent bracelet after seeing a few other girls who had theirs done here. When I got home, I felt like I should’ve gotten the bracelet longer (which was my bad) and realized I should’ve had it placed on my left wrist. I coach volleyball, so being right handed I realized probably wasn’t the best choice for me…oops again! I messaged them on Instagram and called the store to see if there was a way to add length and then decided to switch wrists. They got back to me super quickly and Jen was so helpful! I 10/10 recommend this store and will be back even though I live an hour away! It’s worth the drive! When you are investing in a quality piece of jewelry, it’s good to know a business will take their time with you and make sure you are completely happy with the product! Gem is a charming shop. Immediately upon seeing the entrance in the alley-like walkway I was compelled to explore. Once inside I felt transported. There are products and gifts that call to all your senses and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. A few items that come to mind are patterned rugs, soft pillows, rugged stools, smooth stones, fragrant candles, incense and of course the gorgeous jewelry! The staff are kind and knowledgeable. I have been a lover of Gem/Gem Home and have purchased multiple pieces over the years included participating in piercing and bonded events; however, I purchased a ring 12/24 and have contacted the shop on three occasions to determine the status. For how expensive the piece was, I’m floored that I was the one who had to continue to follow up. After having called the last two days with no answer, I came into the store today. I was told today that since they didn’t have an update there was no need for communication. That’s the exact opposite of how I have come to expect a small business to act.
