I attended Glitter Nail Academy (Session 18) to be exact. Coming in as a self-taught nail technician for 3/4 years the take away was great. The knowledge I received for nails was enhanced but most importantly I built connections and bonds with other Chicago Nail Technician and Major Brand Companies associated with Glitter Nail Academy. I went to glitter nails academy and as soon as I walked in all the student greeted me with a smile. I went in for an acrylic overlay with Perla. She did an amazing job, she walked me through every single step. When it came down to filing and shaping is made sure to ask me if I like the shape various times and also told me to please let her know so that if I didn’t she could change it. She was super friendly along with all the other girls in the school. The way the teachers made themselves available to all students for any questions or help they might need was pleasant to see. Overall, I’m really happy with my nails and how they came out. Perla left me ready for the holiday season and vacation ready. I mean you can definitely tell they are students. If you have nowhere to go and nothing else to do with your day then maybe give em a try. I just don't have time to be sitting for two to three hours getting my nails done(just hands, i didn't even wanna think about getting my toes done after the two hours it had already took) My life is busy and I need to be in and out. My tech also kept stopping and having to look for supplies but again if you have the patience, go for it! They are students not yet licensed and it's super obvious and for that reason I think that the prices could be lower since your paying for student level nails not licensed...
