Seafood Junction — Restaurant in Oak Park

Usually when I come here I have no problems with anyone, the young lady at the front desk is always helpful, however yesterday their was a guy at the front desk along with the lady, I'm guessing he was the manager/ supervisor and was incredibly rude, no customer service at all! I requested that my veggies be put in a separate container instead on with my seafood due to my own reasons! He had a problem with that and told me the corn comes inside it anyway! My response was"ok" just put the broccoli and potatoes in the side then! Got the food and their was no corn in my bag along with my seafood and my potatoes were way undercooked, my broccoli was fine! I'm trying to figure out what's the big deal with me requesting my veggies on the side? If I'm the customer and that's what I want I don't see a big deal! I live quite a distance from this place and after the attitude I was already given I didn't bother to call them! Won't be back here at this location any more! I've always loved this place and it's food but after yesterday I'll just pick one of their other more...

I'll be the first to admit it slightly ghetto in appearance. This was my first time ever eating there The cashier was very sharp and well knowledge About the menu. The pick up area was very not professional at all. They definitely have dress code issues. That i guess can be avoided by delivery ordering. Also the prices were 30% higher than what's quoted online. I spent $70 for myself. I had enough food for 4 people, ate seafood for 3 days. lobster, crablegs and shrimp cooked to perfection. Did Not care to much for the imitation butter sauce, The potatoes and broccoli were delicious as well... and the fried catfish was off the chain. Kind of reminded me of the fish you get from Docks back in the day i most definitely be back for the fried catfish and lobster tails. Next time i try the king crablegs... They need to update their online menu the prices are false advertisement, by far, and they do not fry...

The food was delicious, but i've gotta tell you, for the price i paid i don't recommend it. Obviously if this wasn't the closest seafood place like this, we probably wouldn't have gone. the 3 stars is for how good and flavorful the food tasted though, i definitely can't take it away from them. In terms of pricing though, i would recommend Angry Crab, much bigger portions and not much confusion with the menu. My friend and I got the same thing, just different flavors (which by the way, you can't combine here :( ) but we got them two different ways, the cashier was really nice and friendly but didn't know one thing from another. I asked how big the rice portion was and she straight out said she didn't know.. uhm, could you possibly ask someone in the back or find a container or something?! By the way, 3.99 for a cup of rice? My ancestors are crying in agony about that one.. Over all, good taste, not a...
