I will never put haze anything from Rooms To Go ever again. I purchased two living room sets for my new home and not even 7 months in the furniture started to fall apart. When I called for service to the Woodlands location, they sent out a tech who did nothing and then reports the issue was resolved to the office but tells me he is ordering parts. When I called back two weeks later, another tech was sent out. This tech sees the issues and he states he’s ordering parts. A whole 3 months pass and my furniture is still not repaired. Tawana, their customer service “expert” was nothing less than unprofessional and really didn’t care about my call at all. She is trained well though. All she kept stating was policy statues that… I was told that it takes 90 days for them to get 1 part but I need 5. I was also told that the tech that came in January never put in the order and that it was not ordered until February 27th a whole month later by the second tech. When I asked why, Tawana informed me that she had nothing to do with that first techs notes and that the second tech put the order in and policy states I have to wait. Now, it is about to be May and I’m told to wait. They expect my money every month, on time, yet the furniture I’m paying for is falling apart. Nobody there seems to care, they all just state policy. I have spent way to much money to be pushed to the side and people wonder why others just go mad and tear things up. If I were one of those people that Rooms to Go would be gone. This is a horrible experience. I am a business owner myself and an Operations manager with Hilton and at this point they need a revamp on the entire team. These people don’t know anything about customer service at all. You don’t talk rudely to a customer who is concerned about a product they received from you. You are your company so all the that has nothing to do with me crap should stop. It is YOUR fault. It is YOUR concern. It is YOUR job. When people come in speaking about one of my locations I can’t say oh, that’s not MY building or that has nothing to do with TODAY. Tawana said to me that my concern about the January agent being, at least spoken to about the error was not her fault or her concern, she is only talking to me about the call TODAY. Well, my concern TODAY is the Tech you sent in January didn’t do his job and making someone wait 90 for 1 part is the issue is that you guys never fix anything you just make people who are paying good money for your trash products wait with no real answers on how the issues will be resolved. I regret purchasing the Beautyrest Black LX-Class Medium Tight Top King Mattress and feel compelled to share my disappointing experience across review sites and media outlets due to the poor service and product quality I received.
I purchased a floor model and was explicitly lied to by the salesman, Justin Rodriguez. Before signing the paperwork, I asked about a "final sale" comment on the documents. He assured me that he had put a "code" on the paperwork that indicated it was not a final sale. However, once I brought the mattress home and slept on it, I quickly realized it was in poor condition.
After setting up an appointment to evaluate the mattress, I was informed it was in very poor condition. After the evaluation review, I received multiple approvals from several managers for reselection. It was noted that I had "approval for reselection on take-home purchase" (meaning floor model)." When I tried to make the selection, I spoke with the managers, Leslie and Jeff at the store I purchased from and was told no and given the runaround on who to contact. I contacted customer service managers, Lisa Williams and Edwin. However, they all gave me the runaround.
Edwin's direct report was incredibly rude until I informed her that I recorded the phone call. Only then did her tone change, and she was willing to pass me to her manager, Edwin, who "possibly could do what she can't do."
Long story short, the mattress is visibly lumpy when dressed with the bedding, and I wake up in pain every morning. I spent over a thousand dollars on this mattress, and no one was willing to help me, even after the sales associate lied to me and I received approval for reselection. I'm stuck with an expensive mattress that's in deplorable condition and not ONE person cared enough to help me.
