I went in Sweetheartz on obt today, with some shoes I received as a gift about a week and a half ago, to exchange for a size up. I went to the other Sweetheartz last night and they said to try the other one because they didn’t have it. I understand usually they don’t do exchanges but, I only had tried on the shoes. I had also called last night knowing that I wasn’t going to make it in time before they closed, and the man through the phone told me to come in today and they would see what they could do. He said that he thought that they carried the shoes based off of my description. When I came in today the lady at the counter was unsure about the exchange because they usually don’t do exchanges, so a man from the back came out, i’m assuming because he heard her. He grabbed my shoes from the box, and noticed a little wet spot from when I had tried to wipe off my fingerprints from trying on the shoes. The rest of the shoe was perfect. He then went to the back to check to see if they had the shoe, then he took my shoe to the back to compare, and when he came out he told me that my shoes must not be pleaser brand. That my shoes are some sort of other brand, he was very rude about it and told me that I wouldn’t be returning shoes a week and a half after they were bought anyway. Which is kind of why I called in the first place. I also Hadn’t gotten around to come in since I live so far from the store. I brought the box and everything that came with the shoes including the tissue paper, that says pleaser all over it. I will not be shopping here again, but it is too bad because overall the store was really nice. The lady that I had talked to made sure to try to be nice about the whole situation but overall I felt really unwelcome. The man through the phone seemed like they would do it but, when they saw me they wouldn’t?? The shoes were perfect, the lady that talked to me seemed like she thought they looked perfect too she just didn’t know how to exchange since they usually don’t...
Read moreGreat shoe selection and a lot of outfits but quality of outfits on most seems cheap. Overall experience was not pleasant. I felt harassed by the cashiers as I was deciding on shoes, as they wouldn’t allow me to try on more than 3 pairs and they were rushing me the entire time. I did end up purchasing a custom outfit and shoes and they didn’t offer me any shoe bags. So I asked and she gave only one. I asked for 2 because they’re boots with long tassels and she refused. I guess spending almost $400 doesn’t buy you 2 pleaser shoe bags to go with your 2 pleaser boots. Honestly will be shopping online and from local vendors in my club after...

My friend and I just visited the Orlando store on Orange Blossom Trail and the owner or manager was incredible rude after choosing a pair of shoes my friend asked the manager if they had discount for dancers he told us he was in the business for 15 years and that the dancers and people of Orlando were greedy and he doesn’t like making business them he told us that he prefers dancers of the surrounding areas. All his commentary was out of touch, unnecessary and offensive to the people of Orlando where they have their business, if you don’t like the people and dancers of Orlando close your store and move somewhere else. If you live in Orlando stop supporting this business that discriminates against its own people.
