La Maison Du Goût — Restaurant in Pine Castle

My electric wheelchair batteries went dead and the very nice people here ran an extension cord outside so I could charge my wheelchair. Without their help I would be stuck somewhere on O B T in Orlando. I couldn't go inside because I couldn't get up the ramp to the sidewalk. The very genius man who ran the cord out didn't want me sitting in the hot sun but I had an umbrella and that stopped some of the heat. When I get more money I will come here to try their food which must be great because customers kept coming in and going out with large orders. They are hidden away in a small strip mall before you get to Holden Ave. ,right before Aldi's going south or right after Aldi's going north. They are way back in the 2nd building. Check them out!

Mérci La Maison du Gout...

I came from Miami to visit Orlando and decided to try this restaurant and wow, I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious and tasted just like real Haitian home-cooking. It brought me back to Haiti with every bite. Everything was perfectly seasoned not too spicy, not too salty just right.

I also had the passionfruit juice… OMG! It was amazing. You could tell it was fresh and naturally made not powdered or overly sweet. It was so refreshing!

They really did an excellent job with their food. Everything was cooked to perfection. I honestly might have to come back from Miami just to eat here again. If you’re looking for authentic Haitian flavor, this is the spot....

Wow! The food is great, it’s very flavorful. Soooo delicious, way better than other Haitian restaurants in the area, it’s made with love and they are clean, the food is FRESH & great portions! Now if I’m being honest, the service when the owner is not there could be better! You have to be patient bc you wait for 45 minutes plus without being acknowledged, and have to repeat your self. I understand she hired a few new people so my only suggestion as far as the service is for the owner to train her staff a little better for the days she’s not there! Otherwise the restaurant is great, love the food! Once I have my food I’m happy! Definitely recommending this...
