Taqueria Ameca (Jalisco) — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

We went here on a whim for something other than our regular spots. I will say I was not disappointed at all, the food was super tasty, and extremely simple. They offer a ton of meat options, that several spots don't do.

They also make them EXTREMELY FAST, no 15-20 minute waits.

My wife had gotten Asada tacos (steak), they were very good, nicely seasoned and nice corn tortilla's.

The sauce / salsa's are self service with a variety of flavors, and you can add Cilantro & onions on your own.

I had gotten Quesobirria tacos, they were also extremely good, cheesy was gooey and the birria was nice, and not chewy. It did come with the consume, (Liquid it was cooked in) on the side. Definitely nice to dip and mix with hot salsa.

We also had a chocoflan, which is hard to get right imo. I loved it and my wife did too.

Overall, if your looking for a good cheap taco spot with no frills or any of that. Look no further.

I will say I know the area, it isn't the best but it isn't the worst. Don't let it scare you...

I usually never right reviews or even come back to get food replaced. But I’ve only been coming to this restaurant for about 2 weeks and so far so good until tonight. I ordered a LARGE rice and beans only. When I got home I looked inside and they gave a the same amount of a small. So I head back to the restaurant and asked is this how much comes in a large cause i usually get more. So then lady at the front says yes, and I’m like no it’s usually more. I’ve been coming everyday for almost 2 weeks straight, I told her you just put the same amount you would in a small container but instead you put in the big one and called it a large. And she said yes!! So I asked why did pay for a large then? She rolled her eyes and didn’t fix my order. I will NEVER be coming back. Customer service is KEY! Yuck she was so rude and nasty. Mixed together is how much rice was actually in that large container ! Smh...

la salsa roja para los Tacos estaba un poco agria y picosa mala experiencia en esa Salsa ojala puedan checar eso...... El Sabor de los Tacos no cumple mis expectativas porque estaban muy pequeños.....Gracias de todas formas el Precio no estuvo mal y no importa pagar mas but a real Mexican Taco gatta be real bigger than that

the red salsa for the Tacos was a bit sour and spicy bad experience in that Salsa hopefully they can check that ...... The Flavor of the Tacos does not meet my expectations because they were very small ..... Thank you anyway Price was ok and it does not matter to pay more but a real Mexican Taco gatta be real...
