Pop N’ Snax | Exotic Snacks — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

Pretty annoyed and should’ve followed what the reviews said. I grabbed a “too good to go” bag from this place and was SO EXCITED. They’ve only got 3.6 stars but i decided to give them a chance because my husband loves exotic snacks - so i figured i could load his Easter basket with them! Should’ve gone somewhere else. Got there at 3:30pm and the blinds were down - they open at 2pm so it was already a red flag. They were going construction in the store and the owner wasn’t there. Cool - not a problem. Left and went to lotte market up the street. Went back to pop n snax at 4:45…doors were locked and the workers were inside clearly ignoring my knocks / phone calls. My pickup window was 4-6pm so 4:45 was definitely an acceptable time to be there.

The issue of posted hours being incorrect is still an issue. I go to pick up a mystery bag during the hours they posted 4pm-6pm. I go, the window and sign says open, but the door is locked and no one answers the phone. I contact customer service for Too Good To Go and recommended that this business be removed from their platform because this has happened too many times it seems to others. To take money ahead of time but not provide goods is just scummy. Do emergencies happen, sure, but this is too many times to be a coincidence and no notice whatsoever. Local businesses like this is what keeps the culture of a great city alive! Aaron and Jose the two owners of this amazing place have really provided a WORLD CLASS experience with their products and dedication to the urban atmosphere. Genuine and fair prices offered.
