We visited this Homegoods store during the summer of 2023. Parking was kind of difficult as it kind of went around the building and you had to search for a spot. Once inside, it was difficult to find a cart. It being a weekend probably didn't help. The isles are a little narrow. I found the store to appear clean. Although there were areas where carts or too much merchandise blocked the isles. I found some of the shoppers to be rude to others and lacked some basic decencies. But most folks were nice folks. Again, this may have had something to do with the weekend crowding, so the weekdays may be better. The store had a decent variety of things most folks do not need. Although they also had many things that folks might need. I see this store about those things you don't need, but just want when you see them. So yeah, folks will like this. One thing I didn't care for is the check out line. It also doubles as the return line. So if you had to return something. You would have to wait it that line with all the folks wanting to check out, just to return something. Then if you wanted to shop, you have to wait in the long line again. I see no advantage to anyone with this setup. Well except maybe management who apparently do not want to pay someone to have a service desk. All in all, a decent store. But too crowded on the weekend both in the store and to find parking anywhere near the store. Go during the...
Read moreVery disappointed with my return experience at HomeGoods. I recently purchased a small garbage can which was too small and had a scratch on it. I didn’t notice when purchased and a laundry basket from HomeGoods. Less than 14 hours later, I returned to the store to return both items too small and the laundry basket didn’t look good. To my surprise, I was told that the laundry basket had been used , which is completely false. I had not used it at all. ( it’s been 14 hours and that’s through the night)
Despite explaining that I had just purchased it the day before and had not used it, the employee refused to issue a refund and instead embarrassed me In front of everyone and proceeded to gave me a store gift card, which I did not want. I was treated as if I had done something wrong when I had simply followed the return policy.
I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and employees at Home Goods and how the situation was handled . Me and my family have been a loyal customer for many many years and live down the street in Heathbrook. This experience has made me lose trust in HomeGoods, and I will not be shopping there again nore will my family and if I can help it my friends. I hope management addresses how returns are handled and treats honest loyal customers that spends money with...

The Isles definitely aren't big enough and who every is in charge of their display s abd merchandising, and products planograms needs to be thought better or find someone wgo can execute the job better.
Addendum to this particular post over a year ago this store was a complete mess , disaster area. A0person with anysort of ocd issues worst nightmare but I have to say I went in again last week, figured id give them a try again and was pleasantly surprised it was very different very different atmosphere, obviously they have an insane amount of products and selection so I can only imagine what a daily task it would be to keep this store tidy and organized but it must of received new management because it was absolutely lovely. Very obvious that there was and is abd ongoing attempt to keep the store organized and appealing to the eye, granted obviously with that amount of stock it must be very much of a task to keep the store nice but I was extremely impressed at the difference , so I've changed my stars to 5....
