I chose this place today for my Mother’s Day breakfast. My experience today from time the time I entered this place up until the time I drove away.
I placed my name on the list for a party of 2, which was myself and my 7 year old granddaughter. We were told it would be 25 min wait. I’m a melanated woman and I noticed there were 2 other melanated women waiting as well.
As I was waiting, I noticed a non melanated couple and their child entered the restaurant to check the wait time and after 5 mins passed they were seated.
So another 15 mins passed by, my name was called to be seated, I asked the hostess if they took call aheads and she said not on a day like this (Mother’s Day). So I shared with her why I asked, I told her that a party came and was seated with little wait time. She expressed that she may have made a mistake and apologized.
Once I was seated, I asked for the manager, One of the managers by the name of Bella came over I explained to her what happened and she was nonchalant about it, but apologetic and said she would talk to the young lady about it. I explained to her that it was several parties that was seated before myself and the other 2 melanated women and how that wasn’t a good look for the restaurant doing something like that.
I spoke to the other melanated women and the did express to me that they noticed the same thing but they assumed the other parties made reservations.
My waitress came to the table took our order which was much, my granddaughter (7) order a kids waffle ( 1/2 of a waffle), eggs and a fruit cup. I had avocado toast with a side of bacon. 15 mins later our food came out, my granddaughter food didn’t look too bad, but my avocado looked absolutely disgusting, the avocado was bad and they tried to hide the rotten avocado with seasoning on top.
I looked an around for my waitress and I did not see her anywhere. So after about another 15 minutes, my waitress came to the table and asked If I wanted a box because she noticed that I did not touch my food. I showed her my toast and how disgusting the avocado look, she stood there and just look like nothing seem wrong to her, at this point I asked for the manager Again.
Another manager came out by the name of Dillon, He expressed and showed a little bit more concern than Bella and even offered well I should say, gave me too Dollar loyalty bucks, which did not even cover the cost of the avocado toast, but at least he gave me something which I wasn’t really looking for anything. I will not be back to this establishment no time soon.
And make sure you ask for plastic utensils because the host was touching everything under the sun as she was rolling clean silverware, in which gloves should have been worn and changed if she needed to...

Their food is much better. *It didn't upset us that the server kept telling us that our food was on its way and it turned out the order was never submitted because they're using hand-held computers to take your order. *it didn't upset us that after taking our order again everything was wrong about the order. *it didn't upset us that the server reassured us repeatedly that the manager would take care of the meal and then came to us with $5 off our next visit coupons instead. *it didn't upset us that our food was awful and the philly omlette tasted like a ball of grease with absolutely no flavor. *what did upset us was that the manager deciding to bill us full price for our meals after the server said the opposite BUT when i explained that our meals were delayed, awful AND wrong, she said that i "should've told her" to which i reminded her that this was the first time seeing her. she passive-agressively stated again that i should've communicated the error to her but i mentioned that we were under the impression the meal would be discounted or comped altogether and we don't complain about something when it's given to us for free. she irritatedly repeated herself about saying something which was basically blaming us for their bad service for our first time visit, and last. i don't want to cause a scene when I'm trying to enjoy myself with my lady but...

When we arrived it seem to be a nice bright atmosphere ..1sr sign of confusion was there was a sign that said “wait to be seated “ then when the hostess called our. name she said “ pick a table that was clean …then when the waitress ask for our drink order she stated the place had no lemons ..we ordered water w/lemon coffee and orange juice …we knew right then this was not going to be good ( nobody could go and get lemons from a secondary supplier ) Sams or Publix or Walmart that’s right down the road …so we ordered 2 classic breakfast with pork sausage and one with bacon and grits .. the food was cold ..the eggs cracked in my teeth with shells I had to use a napkin to not bite down any further …. the grits tasted like oil or some type of grease .. not good .. they looked like grits.. think like grits but only tasted oil as if we had the bottom of the pot …I don’t know ..we then told the waitress about it ask for home fries instead and got a pile of spice with potatoes .. ridiculous .. no one ever came out the kitchen to address this matter we paid and left a tip on the table ..regardless not the waitress...
