** edit- Thank you for proving my point on your total lack of professionalism. This is exactly what happened.. I have zero reasoning to waste my time to come here and make any false accusations.. But again.. thank you for proving the point. I asked for UNSWEETENED tea- as did my husband.. and after taking over 15 minutes to return, we were given SWEET TEA- which I can not have.. Then proceeded to wait even longer- I DID INFACT ASK if I could cancel and was told YES- and my husband was accused of trying to leave without paying ?! paying for WHAT MAAM?? the drink I sipped that I did not order? Please.. and apologized for my behavior? wow.. my 13 year old was right there and this never happened.. because I asked if I could cancel a order and thanked the girl? .. keep grasping for straws.
Not sure what happened to the old management or whatever changed- Also not one to complain if there is wait times, etc- however .. the experience tonight was awful! Ordered drinks.. got wrong drinks after only waiting over 15 minutes for them to return .. brushed it off .. waited even longer for appetizers.. asked another waitress to please cancel our order- she said they COULD do that- I thanked her- their manager stopped my husband as if we even had ANY piece of food presented to us! and treated him as if we were dashing?!
My husband never got in our vehicle - before they had accused us of leaving not even checking on maybe WHY their customers were upset?.. definitely not appropriate - nor does she have any professional mannerism. My husband paid for the food that had still yet to even be brought out- appetizers specifically.. which are now in my home trash can.... have not had this bad of service in a LONG time! 5 stars for atmosphere- meaning the good live music- customer service is terrible! Will not be...
Read moreVisited 5/15/22 for dinner at around 5:45pm. I arrived with a group total of 4. My husband and I ordered specialty drinks which were fine. We also ordered guacamole and chips appetizer. You have to mix your own guacamole which isn't terrible but despite the fixings provided on the side, it was still pretty bland. (We added everything to it.) Also I had to ask for another order of chips because a good proportion of the chips initially provided were chewy and I even showed the bartender, who was helping our waitress out because staffing was waaaay too thin, how rubbery and bendable the chips were. I ordered the rosemary and garlic salmon which came with wild rice, green beans and "greens". The fish is not fresh, definitely cooked from frozen. The seasoning had a funky sour flavor to it. The rice and green beans were so oily I couldn't finish it and the "greens" were about 6 pieces of wilted arugula on top. My husband got the Shepherds pie that look so plain. No garnish, just blah. He also got French onion soup which clearly looked like a white slice of cheese was just plopped on top. Typically shredded gruyere is added to French onion soups. Also keep in mind that this place is insanely overpriced. My dish alone was $19; for frozen funky flavored fish, uncle Ben's wild rice, and oily greens beans. Our drinks were kept filled but when we were done, we sat there for 15 minutes waiting to ask for the check. It took so long that I actually stood up. Still no one. Someone in our party flagged the bartender who cashed us out. (I paid at the bar). FYI if you get the high top, be prepared to kind of slide out from your chair. They were so uncomfortable. Also flies and knats plagued our table. We all applauded my husband when he was able to kill one of the knats bothering us. I will never, ever be...
Read moreWe waited about 10 minutes to be seated which isn't bad but we weren't acknowledged. Once we were seated we waited about another 10 minutes and then Victoria came over and said "I'm not your server but I'll take your drink order." She was polite. She brought our drinks back a moment later and asked if we were ready to order. I asked about the specials but she said happy hour ended at 7. (We had been at the restaurant 15 minutes already so we were disappointed to hear this. We later heard the table next to us that was seated later receive the specials.) So we ordered. About 5 minutes later she came back and asked if my girlfriend wanted a soup or salad. She ordered a salad and Victoria walked away not asking about dressing or type of salad. About 25 minutes later we received the salad, which did taste good. We received our food 55 minutes from the time we ordered. In this time not a single person came by to check on us. The food tasted well but we again found ourselves searching for a server to bring us refills or napkins. We approached the hostess to ask for napkins and who our server was supposed to be and she seemed dumbfounded. We asked for a manager and she said Victoria is the manager, but she never came. A couple minutes after that a different server came and checked on us and asked if we wanted to order dessert. We declined. We had to slide our plates out of the way to make it obvious we were done eating so she would bring us our check. It was at that time that I realized I received Mai Mai tacos instead of the pork tacos I ordered (more expensive of course). They were a good meal but I am glad I do not have an intolerance for fish because that could have been dangerous. Probably not the experience most have but very disappointing and the worst part is not a single employee...
