Carolina School of Surf — Local services in Ocean Isle Beach

I highly recommend this company to anyone who is renting the surf or paddle boards. We rented 4 paddle boards from them. All transections were done by the phone call. The other company (Surf Unlimited) required us to come into their store and make it inconvenient. The gentleman helped me renting the boards over the phone was very helpful. Delivery was free unlike other places. Delivery was done right when they would brought it. They have half day rental for $25 each which was exactly what we wanted. The boards were basic but well functioning. That was all we needed it. The delivery person told us he would come back for pick up at 8, but later called me to say that it will be 10:30PM and for us to just leave the boards out there. So we won't have to wait for him. I loved the responsiveness and convenience of this place. It's a simple thing to ask for businesses, but hard to find. Kudos for the Carolina...

Do not hesitate!! We saw other kids in the ocean at 44th Street getting lessons and having a blast with very courteous instructors, everyone happy and smiling. So I asked one of the moms videotaping her kids, "Who is the company giving these lessons?' I jumped on their website, texted the number there and got our 11 year old signed up for a private lesson for the very next day.

Sydney was a lovely and patient instructor. The owner was there, too, very polite and organized and I paid with Venmo right there on the beach.

And my son who had never surfed before got up about 40 times in his 90 minute lesson. Beaming and joyful. I 100% recommend Carolina Surf. And I am so glad...

I really can't recommend CSS enough.

My 8 year old daughter had several lessons with Miss Cristal the past couple of years. Each one better than the last. Cristal was kind, patient and professional. We saw improvement after each lesson and she was so thrilled with Cristal's encouragement and positive attitude.

We had a week of camp booked and unfortunately due to a tropical storm we could only attend one day. But that one day with Carston, Cristal, Miles and Noah was enough to boost her spirit and get her ready for next year. The whole crew bent over backwards to make sure her one day was memorable and fun filled.
