Mosaic Church — Local services in Ocean Springs

I have always had a hard time looking for a home Church and since we move a lot, it has been very challenging to find a pastor who doesn’t only promote giving/expanding the church, or enticing people to believe because Jesus loves/forgives us and Christianity is easy. BUT IS IT? Is following Jesus truly easy and doing what’s right all the time our first instinct? Absolutely not. Yes, Jesus love us always.. but there are consequences for every action. With that said, I absolutely love Mosaic Church but mainly because of Pastor Brandon and his teachings. I can see how his approach may be too strong for others since he does not sugar coat the truth. He doesn’t try to be funny and his humor is not anything like a comedian’s.. but he’s not there to win anyone, instead to help us to understand the truth. I love how in depth he goes with the Bible and also connecting it with real experiences that is very relatable (only if you’re truly honest with yourself). I appreciate how Pastor Brandon is able to point out our flaws and struggles as humans, as he says it in all honesty and humility.

Now, I read a review in regards to Pastor Brandon’s personality being aloof etc.... but don’t we all have our quirks? I have met him once and he did seem like he had a lot in his mind. I think as Christians, we are so quick to judge and forget that all of us have a cross to carry and some might be heavier than others. All in all, I still listen to Mosaic’s messages online and I pray (if you’re reading this, pray for me as well) to find a church that...

I would not recommend this church for any type of help. We gave them our information a week ago and we haven’t heard anything we called and they went on a mission and basically sent us an email yesterday saying they’re not gonna be able to help us in time to help us pay our water bill so now my water bill is almost $300 because we strictly told them we had to have it paid by the 15th or we will get a late fee… we never asked for help ever, this is the first time we ever asked for any type of assistance with any kind of help and this is the type of help they do. Now my water is probably gonna get shut off and I have a child in the house, a disabled person and an elderly person in the home, if you need help with paying something, this is not the establishment to go to!! I would personally look elsewhere I wouldn’t...
