Ocean Spring IBreakUFIX . I just Deleted about a 10 page essay as to why I am saying this but decided against posting the whole story. 10 pages wrapped into one. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK as they do not guarantee their work. I was just banned from their store because I would pay for THEIR mistake. 275 Dollar repair did not last 2 weeks. Instead of listening to their customer, the manager decided to call me a liar. Be sure to check your screens for bubbles and against a white background before you leave the store. ( Two weeks no drops, or abuse= broken screen) As promised, here is your review. Oh, I'm sorry you refer to it as a threat. Very disappointed in people. Nothing against the guy behind the counter, but the manager. Update to managers post. A.) No threats were made as you call them. An aggravated voice does not constitute a threat. Yes, I did say I would leave a bad review after I was told by the guy behind the counter that he was going to charge me again for a well taken care of screen that was in no way damaged by me, but was obviously not installed properly or had a defect. B.) In regards to the time line. I took a video with my wife's phone within a couple of days of finding the crack which has a time stamp and called your store immediately. The same guy that was behind the register answered. I told him what happened and explained that a 3 hr drive was not an easy one to make with my schedule and he replied that I had a yr warranty and to bring it in within that yr. Well, it hasn't been a yr. C.) I offered to show the video, and I have several ways to prove that what I said was true but you had it in your mind that the customer was trying to get one over on you. That is not the case. D.) I have 4 people that witnessed a bubble under my screen when I received it, I had forgotten about this but after I calmed down from way we were treated remembered that this was also true which would explain the crack now that I think about it. E.) I have never been treated by any business like you treated me, yesterday,. The last couple of seconds, though provoked by being "threatened", the term you use so loosely, you wanted to have the police called on me because I refuse to let you twist my words. F.) l had actually forgotten about the bubble until the guy behind the counter said something about a compressed screen shouldn't allow a crack to happen. There was a bubble the day I picked the phone up after being repaired and is confirmed by witnesses. Unfortunately, I had no idea this could cause the screen to fracture, especially since this is how it was returned to me. My story has and will stay the same. G.) The crack is not a shatter. It is a straight line line starting the bottom left corner that can only be noticed on a white background. I am no rocket scientist but I would think a bubble could cause a straight line crack. H.) I would much rather talk to you in person and resolve this rather than keep putting it on here . Facts are I had a repair done at your store. Within a few weeks, the screen has cracked without a reason. I have proof of this. "Repaired" March 4th. Video March 19th. There was a bubble (remembered only after our unfortunate conversation and calmed down. Did not bring it back in the store that day because I didn't realize I needed to, I don't feel like that is my responsibility to know). I don't feel like I should have to pay for a defective install to be fixed. Just like you wouldn't pay for a partially...
Read moreI chose to take my child's phone here to be fixed the first time the screen went out, because the have so many positive reviews. Well this place is a scam. The first time my child's screen went out was my child's fault. They fixed it, no worries. Shortly after fixing it the screen would freeze up and have other issues. I even got an error saying the screen was not compatible with the phone. I took it to them again and they told me that it was a mistake and the screen will work. I trusted them. A second time, I someone else took my child's phone to be fixed and we continue to have even more issues. Then the screen went out AGAIN. They told me that it was physical damage and I had to pay out of pocket for it. No worries, I paid out of pocket and here we are 2 weeks later the screen had ZERO damage walking into the store and then after they looked at it and pushed on the screen (WHERE THEY DID NOT GLUE THE SCREEN BACK IN ALL THE WAY 2 WEEKS AGO) it all of a sudden had a chip in that same corner they pushed on. Then they offered a discount... the discount was an absolute slap in the face. They do not care that about their customers or thier business. They do the bare minimum to get the customers in and out and know if they do not fix it correctly the first time that people will just keep coming back to get the product fix and spending more money with them. the parts are so cheap from there. You pay pricing for apple product put received temu quality. Their customer service is horrible if you try to call them out face to face about this. I know they are going to comment on here and say that all this is not how it went and yada yada ya, but know that I am not the only one that has an issue with you and I dont care if you say that I am lying or such. In 6 month I should not have the screen...
Read moreEdit update from 2 years ago. - - Before anyone takes a device here to be checked over I would recommend you ask if Caleb is still the tech who’s working there as he might be move on some day to greener pastures. A little over a year ago I had taken my iPhone to a different, local “uBringiBreak” repair shop and suffered the consequences. I then brought it in to Caleb and he undid the damage and “heFixed” it. Don’t remember exactly what he charged but it was pocket change. Last week, because of a comedy of errors while trying to change my password, I ended up totally blocked out of my own facebook page, a nightmare I couldn’t fix. To make things worse Zuckerphuk said I had a 2-factor, OTP password I swear I never signed up for. In any event, Caleb worked on my Mac for 2 days and finally got me my account back. Charged me $53 bucks. He could have charged me ten times that and I would have been happy to pay it....
