Being tasked with liquidating jewelry from a passed family member’s estate, I found myself becoming overwhelmed sorting through mixed reviews of local gold buyers. Not having any experience selling gold or time to shop around, I needed to find a place that wouldn’t leave me feeling like I’d made a mistake. I’m so glad I stopped into Dada’s in Waretown! The place is clean and well organized, the staff is attentive and welcoming. While I was there, there were a couple customers before me, Al excused himself from them for a moment to ask how I was and say that he would be with me shortly. When I sat down, he asked what my visit was for, I explained and he went right to work examining the jewelry I brought to him. He shared the entire process with me, explaining each step of his evaluation. I learned much on the values of gold, silver and diamonds as he occasionally handed over pieces that he suggested I keep instead of selling. When he finished, he calculated some numbers and asked if I had an idea how much I’d expected (which I did). I told him my expected number and he came back at 3 time what I’d estimated. I was so impressed with my experience at Dada’s that I’m going to use them exclusively from this point forward. If you’re looking for honesty and integrity in dealing with jewelry, diamonds and precious metals, do yourself a favor and make the trip to Dada’s!!

I have been hearing amazing reviews about Dadas for quite some time and I had been wanting go in for a necklace repair. I finally had the chance to go in and I am so grateful that I did. When I arrived I first was greeted very warmly by the owner Al. He is extremely knowledgeable in jewelry and so very kind and honest. He introduced me to Lloyd, the gentleman who does the repairs. He insured me that my necklace would be as good as new!! Not only did Lloyd do a phenomenal job at repairing my necklace, Al was more than generous with pricing!! Dadas is a meticulously clean and beautiful shop, where everything is neat, organized and easy to find. I can assure you if you are looking for a new or unique piece of jewelry , you will not be disappointed with the selection, with the great prices and gorgeous pieces Al carries it is hard to leave empy handed.. This store is phenomenal! They enlarged a ring for me that a jewelry store would not touch. The ring, which was made by a close friend of my MIL, was given to me when she passed away. Because it was a privately made ring, there was no indication of the material it was made of, therefore the jewelry store would not touch it. The owner, Al, was able to determine that it was indeed gold, enlarged it & made it look brand new! They will never know how appreciative I am for completing this task. My daughter is getting married in a couple of months & so wanted to wear her grandmother’s ring as a symbol of her grandmother being with her on her special day. I am going to surprise her the morning of the wedding! Al couldn’t have been any nicer or professional!! He was a pleasure to speak to. Honest! Price for the work was exceptional!!
