I called multiple times to have a product and a 15% off coupon ready to go. First off, the first time I call, I inquire about the product I want. The girl on the phone was very helpful and after explaining that I had a small sports car, she assured me that said product would fit in my car on account that it was disassembled and in boxes, needless to say, way too big for my car. Trip was pointless, time and gas wasted, honest mistake, and I shouldn't have taken her word for it, my bad. Multiple employees stated that I could come pick them up and they would be ready to go with 15% off coupon. I drag my friend who has a truck across town to help me and when I get there no 15% off coupon. The cashier and floor associate were incredibly rude from start to finish, I was very polite the whole time and really still can't understand why they didn't want to take the $500.00 I was prepared to spend. Anyways, the stuff inside is cool (and overpriced for the most part) and unfortunately I had a bad experience. Anybody that can offer me a good alternative to this place would be much appreciated. Read moreI generally love this store but today had a very bad experience sadly because of a young employee Sarah. This store has so many amazing little items for the home that are unique and I’ve always loved going in here to take a look at everything when I have time to. I was just picking up an online order and added a few things after looking around a bit. Sadly the customer service I received here today was some of the worst I’ve ever had. I had no simple communication or eye contact, this employee walked away a few times, with no communication or informing us of what she was doing. She threw a larger bag on the counter and didn’t even bag our items for us, after she tried to squeeze our additional items we bought into a small bag. She then just walked away. I waited a minute so that I could get her first name once she noticed we were still standing at the register. I deal with clients and the public all day long as an interior designer and no matter what type of store or service you’re visiting, everyone should be treated with common courtesy and respect, possible eye contact and maybe a thank you for your purchase or coming into our store today. I did not appreciate her attitude when she asked me for the name of the table, I didn’t know off the top of my head I just said gold round cocktail table. She took our order number prior to asking for the name so taking the name of the table and saying “it has a name..gold table” while laughing was extremely unnecessary, the order number provided you the name of the piece.
