Love going to Spencer's out here. However if your going to get your ears pierced I strongly suggest you analyze the dots where the peircings will be otherwise the holes on both sides won't match up. Even though one of my ear lobes is a little longer than the other the new peircings I got above the original ones where way off. I don't blame the girl who worked there at all it was my fault for not paying better attention as she did ask me if it looked correct. No biggie I still look hotter than before just took out my old earrings and bought new ones. Hopefully will be taking a trip to Spencer's again soon and probably look into getting my cartilage or earbrow peirced next time. It's a nice mall but unfortunately the kids coming from school fighting and the kids being loud and obnoxious in the movies drove a lot of people away. It's in a horrible location and you don't even know it's there until you drive upon it. The parking lot is like a freaking maze there are no really good signs to give you good directions to which exits go to which road and the exits are hard to get out of. Unfortunately Barnes n Nobles and the many restaurants that opened within the west oaks cul de sac suffered because the light to SR-50 takes forever to turn green then changes to quicky for enough people to come out especially during...
Read moreUnfortunately I am sad to say that this is a dying Mall. About 10 years ago when the Fowler Grove shopping mall was built a few miles down the road this mall started to decline. All but just one of the big anchors has pulled out and most of the internal mall is filled with vacancy signs and trendy Urban stores to appeal to the local market. They used to be a fantastic mall and a great place to go that was convenient to where I live but now that they're struggling with keeping retailers there to pay rent they've also let go the landscaping and other visual upkeep aspects. They were also the only major movie theater in the area but again have gone so far downhill that I would not recommend anyone going there as it's only populated by teenagers looking for a good deal with very little oversight from Property Management. The last time I went there we asked for a refund as we couldn't even enjoy the movie due to all of the child play going on throughout the theater. JCPenney's is the only big store left in the mall and they look like they're about on the verge of exiting, they staff it with minimal staff and you can tell they're cutting Corners wherever possible. You can still find some good deals there so that maybe to the advantage of a bargain hunter but beyond that I recommend you pass on the mall...
Read moreI love the oaks Mall. I just feel sad about the landscaping. The magnolia trees are absolutely beautiful but everything else looks sad and dated it needs to be updated some irrigation put into would help. Evidently the person who owns or manages the West oaks Mall doesn't understand the meaning of first appearance is everything. The first thing you see when you come up to the mall is what the landscaping is when you have dead stuff or dying stuff it says a lot it says it's not loved you need to spruce up the outside. there's one area that's just grass a beautiful weeping willow will look nice there you also have an area that has just a couple of plants and empress tree would look beautiful there and people would love their blossoms they've got beautiful purple blossoms that smell like a cross between a wisteria and a gardenia. But give it some color and not just some greenery some crotons would be nice in there anything some Hawaiian ties. But first of all you need to get some irrigation. This is Florida for God's sake we have rain but it is sporadically. We have hurricanes yes but not all the time. And you need to put into consideration that when it does rain the sprinklers do not need to come on that's just wasting money unless you put a well in. And put a rain timer on...
