Dollar General — Local services in Odessa

I love being kicked out of dollar general and the manager on duty being hostile from the get go! It’s beyond sad bc they could and I will have them pull the footage that has audio that clearly shows them treating me wrongly! Then calls the Cops on me and I get hold up in my vehicle by the cops and dollar general how could I be so mistreated when it’s all on camera! I’m baffled! Corporate will be involved and a lawsuit will be filed! All over pricing issues and being told to watch my attitude bc the manager came up last minute and all she heard was I can call corporate if you’d like! Volume was down I was nonchalant about it all! Never had an issue here. This little store comes in handy because others stores are far enough away that it's a planned trip excursion. Their prices are not bad at all.

They have a private brand called Clover and for about half to a third of brand name stuff, it's equally compatible in quality and taste.

The late open hours are great in a small town where everything else aside from gas stations close pretty early.

They had a Veterans Discount for 1 day. 10 %. My husband went in to the store for a few items. He ask for the discount, they were totally unaware of the Veterans Discount for one day out of the whole year. I called them and explained it all to them. I had to go back at around 8:30 pm to get the discount. It took at least an hour for them to figure out how to do it. Hannaford was very nice and determined to figure it out. She's an employee. The assistant mgr. did not help her. She was off duty. She did take my merchandise out to my vehicle because I have a broken leg and in a walker. Management did not prepare...
