The worst place if you're not dropping thousands apparently. Asked for simple replacement of 3 gems and resizing of a band&ring combination. Firstly i was denied the work i actually wanted done to this easier stuff, pushing aside silverwork and larger gems. This was Dec12, was told to hold of on the other work if i wanted it before xmas, called week before xmas wasn't going to be done so i ask to add the extra work anyways, said sure call back after holidays. I did as instructed, calling for the first 3 weeks of january with nicole and sandy always saying they'll call back with an update and never do, starting jan25 i try to get my ring back after they apparently barely put me in queue, saying i ONLY want the resizing now but i was still 15 orders out after 6 weeks and quoted a 2-3 day turnaround after the holidays. Their excuse was putting me on hold for big custom jobs worth a lot more than mine i guess. The ONLY time i got a call back was after 2 days of me asking for a refund of my deposit and my rings back, both servicewomen didnt know how to issue a refund and when i finally got a call back it was to tell me that the work was DONE, mysteriously or just overnight when i was pressuring for my measly 50 dollar deposit back. I asked them to DOUBLECHECK to make sure it WAS ALL DONE, yes they said. I said fine, i will pick it up jan29. Sure enough, my wife retrieves the ring and guess what, only one of them were resized! Yup! After i was told it was done TWICE! They took it off my total, but that wasn't all. The ring they DID manage to resize was not sealed and was GIVEN TO US WITH A CRACK AND TWO IDENTICAL STONES, it was suppose to be my childrens 3 birthstones (Garnet,Ruby,PinkTour). I originally got the ring from here, for a good deal, with custom work done. Which is why i came back, but i didn't leave a positive review the first time because my interaction with Isy, who wanted to show off his technology for ringcrafting in pictures from his phone, which led to him accidentally showing me NSFW pictures of himself LOL. Now after this heap of trouble for sloppy work and being constantly pushed back for larger sales i will never return, and everyone will hear about the hilarious embarresment, their failed work, and deceitful practices from now on from me, starting with this review. I lived in Odessa for only a short time and came across Isy's Fine Jewelry by happenstance. Walking into his store was literally one of the decisions I've ever made. I inherited a precious neckless from my father after his passing and it means the world to me. Isy is the ONLY jeweler I would ever trust to handle, clean or repair my jewelry. Isy is extremely talented and the quality of his work is outstanding. I have since moved away from Odessa but I still continue to go to Isy for all my jewelry needs. I mail my precious jewelry to Isy and he repairs and returns it to me as good as new. He has also done several custom pieces for me. When you meet Isy and see his work, you will understand why I only trust him with my most valued piece of my dad here on this Earth. Thank you...
