What a let down... We’ve been looking forward to enjoying this fine dining restaurant for months now. At first glance, it was kind of odd that such a new facility was already having signs of wear. The booth we sat in already had stains on the cushion. The menus had foods stains and the drink menu looked to be reused from some other time and place. Not to be deterred, we went ahead and ordered apps and drinks. To our surprise, we were informed that the cappuccino machine was down. Puzzling since they haven’t been open long. But okay. 30 minutes pass... Now our absentee server has made an appearance and asked if we’d like to place our main order or wait for our appetizers. We ordered. She also comes back to refill our drinks and proceeds to fill a cup with water that had initially held sprite. Rookie mistake. But also forgiven since we were enjoying ourselves. The apps came 40mins after sitting and the main course soon after. The food was beautifully cooked. Presentation was immaculate. However, the most important mark of flavor was sorely missed. The food was severely under seasoned. We had to ask for salt and pepper to make the food palatable. The temperature of the foods was also room temperature. Disappointed to say the least. For almost $150 for two, we expected MUCH MORE. Foods ordered: wagyu carpaccio, shrimp tempura (very good), onion soup, elote, broccolini, Brussel sprouts (tasty), scallops, 10oz steak, and half bird. We’ll try again in a few months and hope for a better result. The server we had was very inattentive. Other passing servers checked on us more often, refilled our drinks and cleared our dishes. We ended up going next door to Starbucks for some coffee. Also turned out that the cappuccino machine wasn’t “down”, but no one there knew how to use it. Thanks for the transparency.

Amazing food!! Great service!! Sharing a 4 course meal between my wife and I we spent $100!! The lobster arancini appetizer was a great starter. We followed up with an heirloom tomato and burrata salad with medium rare tuna, which was definitely seared to our liking!! Our main course was the shrimp and parpadelle pasta that had some amazing flavor, the scampi butter sauce was to die for and plump black tiger shrimp that definitely filled out the plate!! Ending our meal with the most decadent of crème brûlée that left us smiling and talking about all the way back home!! A definite must eat, west texas fine dining at its best!! (All photos were taken from my samsung s23 ultra for good reference)

We had an amazing dinner!! The Archie Special drinks were the best I have had. We dined with our family and they recommended them. Our entrees were delicious. The burrata and tomato with salmon was superb!! We also had a filet, wagyu steak frittes and rib eye. The meat perfectly cooked and flavor was exceptional. The brussel sprouts annd mashed potatoes…outstanding and OMG the Mac and cheese!!! We had the Fried Milk dessert was good; would have been better a la mode. Service was outstanding as well!! Daniel M, our server, was amazing and a true professional. Omar, the server assistant was super friendly and all over the service aspect. We will be back when we are in town next!!

EDIT: I am pleased to come back and report an updated experience. After our poor one, the manage of the restaurant reached out by phone the very next day. She apologized for our experience, and invited us out to try again. After the holidays were over, we called and took her up on the offer and I'm glad that we did! We have a lovely experience, with great service and wonderful food. The manager came over and said "thank you for the opportunity to teach our staff about how to own a mistake and make it right". I love that she used this experience to move forward and turn it into a learning scenario. Now, I know that our service was over the top, because they were trying to right a wrong. BUT....it appeared as though everyone around us was well taken care of and happy with their service. Our food was quite good and we were definitely pleased with our date night. I look forward to giving them another go in the future!

I'm so sad that I'm unable to leave a glowing review. This was our first time to venture from Midland to the establishment and I was so hopeful. The hotel is beautiful, and the restaurant had nice reviews, so we were excited to go somewhere new for a date night. Unfortunately, we were seated and after 20 minutes and 1 question about a server, no one ever came to our table. I let the management know on the way out that they needed to check in with their servers and assignments, as we were left complete unattended. Hoping this is not the norm, but at this point, we won't be making the drive over...

Had dinner here with some co-workers last night and aside from the banging noise by the bar area our service and dinner were excellent, our server Mackenzie was extremely friendly and polite, she was also very attentive and helpful. We had a couple appetizers to start the Cowboy Queso and Hatch Chili Chicken Quesadillas which were both really good, I ordered the Ribeye steak MW with asparagus, the steak was cooked perfectly and the asparagus was just as amazing and delicious. My co-workers had the ribeye also and one had the chicken fries steak, we were all very pleased with our meals. I have worked in the food and beverage industry as a server in fine dining and for a hotel restaurant this place is excellent, great atmosphere and the service from our server was top notch, not very often do you find a server that is as professional as Mackenzie is. She checked on us and ensured the food was to our liking and kept our drinks full, she is the kind of server you want when you're eating out. Great place and can't wait to eat here again. Only thing that was not cool was the banging and hammering by the bar area, another customer spoke up and asked them to stop because people were trying to...
