WORST grooming ever !!! Do not take your dog here to be groomed if your dog has long hair or if you want a specific cut for your puppy. My husband took our bernedoodle puppy here and gave the groomer specific instructions of what we wanted our pup to look like and what we did not want out pup to look like. We told her we wanted him to have more of a Bernese mountain dog cut versus a poodle cut. We explained that we did not want him shaved and that we like his hair longer. The groomer verbalized that she understood the instructions and upon her assessment of our dog’s hair she even commented that his hair was well cared for and that she only found a small amount of matting on the top of his paws.

The groomer had our dog for 4 hours and when my husband was called to come pick up our puppy the groomer had left before my husband arrived to pick him up, leaving only the front desk girl to bring our dog out.

When we saw our pup we observed that The groomer did not follow our instructions at all. She took off about 90 % of his hair, leaving his hair looking tightly trimmed on his body and paws. Most of the hair on his head was left long. Our dog no longer looks like an elegant bernedoodle but awkward unattractive Q-tip.

We are very displeased with the grooming service, the inability to follow instructions, and lack of accountability we will never take our dog to this...

We recently moved to Tampa from the East Coast, and our furkids, aged 6 and 7, have had the same vet, groomer, and boarding facility for the past seven years. Finding a good groomer in the Tampa area with excellent reviews and customer service felt like searching for a needle in a haystack. Fortunately, we discovered Max's Pet Market & Salon!

From their outstanding customer service to the seamless appointment day arrival, everything was top-notch and deserving of five-star ratings. I even opted for the TheraClean add-on for my little one to proactively address a potential skin irritation. Melissa and Janis were exceptional—not only are they wonderful people, but their grooming skills and customer service are unparalleled. They treated me like a VIP and took even better care of our furkids!

When we picked them up, they looked fantastic. All our requests—keeping them short but not skin short, maintaining long tails and ears, and rounding off their feet and faces—were followed to the letter. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I'm thrilled to have found a place we can call home for their ongoing...

Won't be back for grooming. Picked up my baby and she was not her self. She normally runs to me and jumps all over me with kisses. She did none of that. She was shaking and very nervous and snorting very bad. I called when I got home and asked did something happen during her visit as I explained she was snorting and informed them she has never done this before. They said that she started snorting right before her bath and that was all. I believe something more happened and they arent be honest. I was always told that the pups stay in the grooming area while they are there, but I saw them brining her out of a back room. Not sure whats back there. She has been there 3 to 4 times prior and never had any issues, not sure what happened with this visit but I am not taking any chances with my baby. She is still acting very nervous and snorting. Will be taking her to vet to make sure nothing is wrong with her. If I wasn't asked to pay prior to them bringing her out I would have not paid for this horrible experience or left a tip. Not a...
