If I could give them a 0 I would. I’ve had the worst experience and continually was dismissed and gaslit. My husband and I ordered all of our high end/custom furniture from them and spent upwards of $30,000. Every item we ordered came damaged, incorrect, or dirty. Despite paying for white glove delivery service for each item and requesting that said items were not taken out of boxes/packaging until delivered. They did not do that. I purchased a $6,000 John Richard Credenza for it to be delivered scratched and was told those can be buffed out and fixed. They were not. Ordered a custom sectional worth over $6,000. I began noticing feathers all over my house. Over 100 feathers a day. When I called to complain I was told it was lined and that’s not possible. I said it was not lined and I am willing to put each feather collected in a bag as proof. No one came out to check it. Ended up having to donate said couch because I could not sell it. Ordered a custom glass dining table and 8 leather chairs. When we first received it I called to check size of table ordered because it did not fit all 8 chairs. Was told it was correct and that’s standard. So now it’s a 6 chair table. We put one of the chairs in a separate room and do not use. It randomly discolored. When I contacted the warranty department (which we paid for) to place a ticket for my chairs. I was told someone will reach back out. Spoiler alert we never heard back. Trying to sell the table which costs approx $7,000 and no one will buy it. I’ve called Mathis multiple times to complain and see my options, but no one has called me back. Her amazing customer service and superior knowledge in all the different brands and types of mattresses left us feeling more educated and confident in our decision. They advertise a lower price but unless you’re a member and/or willing to pay them $150 a year to become one, they’re charging you a price that’s higher than advertised. I’ve never had a salesperson threaten that he doesn’t care either way because he gets a higher commission.
I’m taking my $4k furniture purchase elsewhere. Sure, I dress casual and shoot straight. But you never know who has the cash in their fanny pack.
