I came only to look today and do some comparisn pricing. . However, Dexter greeted us with a huge smile and a friendly handshake. He asked if we knew what we wanted. I responded with Theater seating or a love seat. He said OK, let's look at some options. He stopped at one set and opened an arm rest that had a cooler in the center. He said would you care for some cold water as he was pulling it out of the arm rest. Impressive I said but not necessary for me to have a cooler in my sofa. He asked what kind of fabric I might want? I said cat proof which I knew didn't exist. Dexter walked us to a gray set of micro fiber love seat. I said no. He said I've got something back here i think you will like. He sat us down in a very comfortable seat with what reminded me of a Star Trek console. He talked about the maker a bit. He said you won't believe this set. In that conversation some how Mr. Mills name came up. I asked does he come into the store often? Dexter's said everyday. I was surprised. We exchanged more info in needs. Then he said sut back get comfy and be ready to be amazed. He turned on a TV picture about the size of mine at home. He turned the sound up a bit. At first it startled me as I was not expecting what was coming. It was starwars. And it related it to a Disneyland ride that makes the experience of the ride real by putting your senses in the picture. I felt the bumps heard the sound in both ears as if I was right there in the movie. I got excited. Saw the price and was not all that interested. However, I was extremely impressed. He showed us all the controls and described how they worked. I was excited because I wanted a 0 gravity seating. He adjusted head, feet and lumbar. Wow! Even the head rest adjusted to keep pain from my neck. I wanted to know more but different color. He grabbed the color swatches and took it right back to the color I thought I wanted. Then he took us back to a color I didn't think I wanted until I sat there and it grew on me. Again I listened in disbelief. I absolutely love this. I still was not convinced I needed this as just a few months ago I had purchased a sound system and a 75" TV. I saw from a distance a unit that I'd seen at Mathis Bros. I liked it a lot but alas, I was told I could not get it in the color I wanted. Arg....Dexter said let me show you this other unit. We came to a charcoal looking set. I wasn't crazy at first but loved the stitching as it fit the motif I was working to achieve in our home. By this time I had met every sales manager in the store with exception of Mr. Hue (sp) Dexter excused himself after I told him i wanted to place a ranch style area rug in out house. Dexter came back with a gentleman, an Oriental rug expert. The Gentleman proceeded to tell us about the rugs you folks sell. I told him I was interested and that I would let Dexter walk me over to his area. The rug man was very nice. This is getting long so here is the short of it. Dexter allowed me to convince myself that I need that sofa and sound unit. I told him to write it up and then I met Mr. HUE. In minutes we were like old friends. I truly like the man. In all, unlike brand X around the corner your friendly well informed staff had sold me the unit I chose. I have to say. These people I met were the best. Friendly, informed, professionals, egar to assist me in my great choice. I now love Bob Mills furniture. Oh, by the way Dexter introduced us to Mr. Mills and we had a brief chat. Read moreI had to have furniture delivered 4 different times before they got furniture to me that wasn't damaged and they still had to make 2 trips to my home to repair or touch up paint my furniture, because of this it took over a month of waiting to get my furniture after the initial order. I love the furniture and it was very expensive and that is the only reason why I fought to make them get it right. They did work with me yo get it right. They didn't discount the furniture or anything Ike that as a matter of fact, I had to wait a very long time to get it right and it was extremely frustrating process. I wasn"t compensated in any way for that, and slept on a air matress for over a month due to them not having my bed for me when they promised it. I wasn't compensated for that. I found that ridiculous. We were charged for delivery fees a d I feel like the very least they could have done after ringing us damaged furniture over and over is not charge us delivery fees. I feel like that should have not happened that furniture should have been brought out for free at no charge other than the furniture itself after everything that happened. Also, the furniture was delivered without manuals or instructions. We also weren't told that the Theater livingroom set required pucks to sync up to use for sound to TV. Also. It costs extra and you have to buy 2 pucks if you want to sync the entire set up which includes couch, loveseat, and chair otherwise it doesn't work right. Also, you can not sync all three no matter what only two pieces will sync up, so couch and loveseat, which leaves the chair out. That's ridiculous. It also doesn't play in stereo sound so it's just like a sub woofer. That's just frustrating especially while watching a movie and there is a delay. My sales people were great other than not explaining about the puck situation with the livingroom furniture. However, the scheduled delivery service was great the movers, but the people that inspect the furniture before it gets put onto the trucks needs to correct their vision because they must be blind. How are you going to send out expensive furniture to people with dings, deep scratches. Nicks in the wood or peeled up wood, misding paint or finish on the furniture in obvious places. C'mon that's horrible.. Now, buying furniture should have been a pleasurable experience and mine was not to say the least. Now it's time to pay my bill and I cannot seem to set up my billing because the website doesn't recognize as if I hadn't even purchased furniture. Just ridiculous. I call to speak to someone about billing and mind you waa never given any information about the financing company just a receipt from my initial order. So frustrating. I was able to speak to someone from the financial department and they gave me my billing information over the phone however, my amount due didn't match what the store told me I would owe and my bill actually increased. That's ridiculous. So frustrated and sick to death of the whole entire experience. I would never buy from this place again. I wished I never stepped into this store. Read moreI had a terrible experience shopping for a bed set for my son. Unfortunately, this is the last time we will consider purchasing from Bob Mills after this incident. Typically we’ve had great experiences in the past. I would give them a 0/5 if I had the opportunity. This situation went from bad to worst quickly.
Initially we speak with online sales about a bed that we would like to purchase and ask for them to write up the order while we commute there to purchase it. I’m 8 months pregnant and rushed there from south okc. Once I arrived, my online sales person Benny, had not done what we asked. As I’m sitting on the bed set we’re going to purchase some other rude saleswoman walks up and proceeds to tell us, “I’m selling this” although Benny said he had already started the sale for me prior to me getting there. When I asked him what we could do he basically shrugged his shoulders and said “Well, I guess it’s sold.” I asked to speak with a manager which took 45 minutes to wait on. Once the manager Mike Tizzio showed up he was able to locate another set and offered it to me at the same price so we purchased it although it would take over 3 months to receive the chest that came with the set.
Upon delivery and set up, the men could not completely set up my child’s bed because they had damaged it during the process. This was the last of the discontinued set so now I’m without a bed set. They told me they had other furniture to deliver so they left bolts screws and a damaged price of furniture in my child’s room and told me to keep my 7yr old and 1 yr old of there until they could figure out what to do???? Extremely unprofessional. So I get a call from someone in corporate saying they would like to make it right and to come look for a different bed and they would exchange my bed. So I found a bed of LESSER value that would not be in until September and they had the audacity to ask me for almost $300 additional dollars to process the exchange! I was livid. I asked to speak with Mike Tizzio again and he proceeded to pin me off on an salesman named Hieu Vu, who was uninterested in helping me because he said they made “no money” on these sales. He kept offering me single bed although he knew I had previously purchased a bunk bed twin over full. I tried to take a damage piece of furniture out of their clearance room and they still wanted an additional $200. It was obvious their goal was not to work with us after their poor customer service and damage to our furniture. I should not recommended their delivery and set up if you actually need the furniture because they may damage it and leave your child without a place to sleep. Almost every piece of furniture that we looked at was not available to 3-5 months but advertise that they have the most stock in the state. False. Extremely disappointing because my child suffered from their lack of expertise and customer service. The bed was a birthday gift and he was so disappointed to watch them dissemble it and take it back after it sat in our home as a hazard for a week.
