I drove down to Okc from Wichita to try the water park with my girlfriend. I liked the park but had some issues. First issue was we went to the pizza shop to purchase the $30 plastic cup that has unlimited refills. The kid who was running the register was AWFUL. He failed to mention if you buy 2 you get a discount, which I did. ($24 each I think, saving me $12 ) I didn't find out until I came back to buy 2 slices of pizza for lunch and saw the sign on the wall. Trying to get any information from this kid was a joke. I walked up to the register to buy the pizza he just sat there and looked at me. No, hi, hello, this is our specials, this is how things work, NOTHING. I had to ask where to go to get my pizza. When I asked, people in line told me what I needed to do, not him. My second complaint is all the big slides were working to start with. By the end of the day all big slides were closed with no explanation. The lazy river was down to less than 2 feet of water and still going down even more, along with the slide next to it that you go down and have a six or seven foot drop into a large/deep pool. By 3 Pm when the park was the busiest 5 major attractions were closed making the lines on other stuff even longer. I will say other than those issues I absolutely loved my time spent there. I purchased a pass at the gate because I had a last minute friend that met us there and the staff upgraded it to finish out the year as a season pass, which worked well because my friend lived in Okc.

The water park has plenty of life guards, and access to food/beverages is centralized. Their policy to no coolers is not ideal for those trying to enjoy a family day without spending 1000.00. We purchased 8 tickets and parking for two vehicles totaling around 300.00. A single beer or margarita will run you around 15.00 a piece and a plate of "bar" nachos will also run between $17 depending on toppings. Around 2:00 we opted for 3 orders of fries and 4 orders of nachos to share which ran us another 70.00 plus another 75.00 for 5 drinks. We purchased 2 day cups for another 40.00 for the kids to share sodas at discount throughout the day. All in all we spent over 500.00 for a water park day without buying more than. 1 drink for each adult, standing in multiple lines that were over 45 minute wait and at one ride (the toilet bowl) me and a friend had to make the walk of shame back down as we both weigh exactly 250 lbs and the operator wouldn't allow us to go down. Now this part was warned as their limit is 250 lbs, but we were both soaking wet with shirt and water shoes which likely gave us the extra pound, but that still sucked. For those still reading, I would recommend getting in early as the covered seating is limited unless you fork over another 60.00 per seat in VIP seating. While some people come and go, we witnessed many seats sit vacant for hours while crowds of people couldn't find any seating or shade. So first come, first seat applies. We ended up letting people know they could share seats with us while we were away. The lazy river is a great place to relax but there were very few tube's. We did see some people were taking tube's and walking away with them, and that may have ultimately been part of the reason, but would be nice if there were more tube's. We also noticed a lot of tubes were losing air and they were not pulled and replaced or filled which was very inconvenient. Another detail, one of our children is very tall, for his age but he has a very thin frame. He went down one of the water slides using the regular tubes and he had issues staying on his tube. Multiple times he fell off because he doesnt fit well, but when he tried using the smaller tube which he was able to sit in well, he was not allowed by staff. The issue is that the park uses a height requirement for the tubes and for most cases that may apply, but for small frame taller children this is dangerous and takes away from the fun the park can offer to those children.

All in all, the park was kept clean, plenty of safety in place for most rides, even management frequently checking on staff for drunk breaks was a nice thing we noticed. The rides were all open, and when we were finding the rides best for us we did have a lot of fun. The complaints listed above are mainly from a place of frugality and value for the money. Just because a place offers food and fun does not mean it's worth a median paycheck. My recommendation is to take advantage of the early purchase season pass, bring a cooler and stock it for lunch break,...

Duuuuude. This is not the White Water of my childhood. What happened?? Did it get swallowed by a budget cut and spit back out by the ghost of summer disappointments?

Let’s start with the locker fiasco. Picture this: You stand in line at a kiosk that doesn’t work. Once you realize it’s broken, you go to the cabana rental to pay for your locker and then are told you have to go BACK to the same sad kiosk where the staff now has to manually type the codes for you. Why not just give the dang code when I pay the first time? Or bring us back to 1997 when you paid for your locker and got a key to wear around your ankle. Is that too efficient for this park’s aesthetic?

The wave pool (aka the star attraction for my multi-aged, sunburn-prone family) was broken for the first two hours. By the time it came back to life, we’d already gone through half our SPF and most of our will to live.

The lazy river? More like Biohazard Creek. Dead bugs, leaves, possibly the remains of past disappointed customers floating by. Install a filter, a net, a pool boy named Chad—something.

Now let’s talk about the meal voucher, aka The Great Snack Scam. The website says it covers an entrée, drink, and snack. But apparently “fine print” is the theme of the day because we were told at Sharky’s Pizza Shack we could only get pizza. No drink. Until I pulled up the receipt and website like I was arguing a court case. Green-shirted manager (you know who you are) huffed and finally gave us what we paid for—as if handing over a Coke was going to bankrupt the water park.

I brought a family of five. I was excited that, despite our different heights, there was at least one ride we could all go on together. Guess what? It was closed. Along with 2-3 others. Because when you pay $240, you’re apparently investing in “potential joy” not actual fun.

And finally—THE CONCRETE. HOT. Like walk-on-the-surface-of-the-sun hot. Please, for the love of blistered feet everywhere, install cool-crete or at least toss down some of those fake grass rugs from Home Depot. Not all of us wear dorky water shoes.

All in all, I paid $240 to sweat, stand in broken lines, argue over soda, and watch my childhood nostalgia get kicked in the teeth. 1.5 stars because my kids still somehow managed to smile (kids are resilient like that). But I’d recommend investing in a Slip-n-Slide and a backyard...

I used to come here throughout my years in elementary-highschool and enjoyed it and thought it was clean and fun and so decided to get a job here the summer before my senior year. I worked here and would have to say that I would not let any of my family or friends or anyone I have any care for come to this park without warning them about my experiences with the park when I was a lifeguard there. In short, the park is disgusting. I would start off with clean clear water in my section of the pools or lazy river and by 1 in the afternoon you can see it get cloudy and have a tint of yellow and you can't tell unless you know what it looks like when it is clean. The sad part is it isn't even from fault of the employees or the management, the pools are cleaned every morning for quite a few hours by the lifeguards that sign up for pool crew and they usually do a fantastic job. However the people that come here for the most part are just unsanitary and I'm not just talking about kids urinating in the pool I'm talking about full grown adults having sex in the wave pool and finding floating used condoms in the pools or seeing a big piece of crap floating next to children in the pool or puke from grown men and women that don't have the decency to get out of the pool to puke but instead puke and just swim away from the spot, and yes I was watched and seen all of this happen. It's sad when you have to ask adults to stop having sex in the pool as it is a family place and there are children like 5 feet from them. Oh and don't let me mention how rude some people will be once you get to the top of the slides and they are told they are too heavy to go down oh my word they will get mad at every person up there because they couldn't read a sign that had a posted weight limit so they are upset that they walked up and waited in line for so long only to be told that they are too big to ride. Do yourself and your family a favor and just go to a public pool instead, I can almost guarantee that it would be more sanitary than this water park. I hope this review helps you at least be aware of what you are getting yourself into. Oh and it's overpriced as heck but if you insist on going the gas stations normally have coupons that will make it...
