Tisha ( Manager ) Needs to be schooled on how to treat customers, new employees and present employees.
Everything you need to know about how to treat people you're taught in kindergarten.
I believe Tisha skipped that year.
Tisha was disrespectful to me two minutes after arriving for my 1st shift.
The 2nd day my second shift was worse because Tisha showed her attitude in front of the customer.
Which the customer commented to me......
"This is your 2nd day and she treats you like that??!!"
" I said Yes Ma'am " with my head hanging down feeling humiliatated, and also realizing I cannot be treated this way at a new job.
Embarrassment for myself and the store I've been shopping at for years loving the remodeling completion.
The friendliness when I come in the store as a customer.
My hiring Manager Cameron was amazing, kind, and caring.
Dino, who was in the interview with me, helping my nervousness, calming my anxiety down, making me feel comfortable.
And then to be treated that way by Tisha.
I'm a new employee on my first day but any day for that matter no employee should be treated like that, ever!
Not ever by a Manager.
Not even from coworkers.
No excuses for disrespectful conduct from authority to a new employee.
I was so excited to work there!
My family was excited for me, too!
My background in retail.
I've always been a professional and my customers always came first.
And when I'm working as an employee I'm always a team player.
I don't understand this behavior after two shifts with one person who doesn't clearly know me yet, or my skills.
I still want to shop there, but I'm conflicted now because of the way she treated me.
I wanted to grow with this company for years to come.
I'm telling everyone how they need to come see me.
I would have brought more customers Pruett's way because of the store closing I previously worked at.
I had a big following wanting to know where I'll end up.
If only you knew how happy I was coming on board with Cameron.
He even said he was looking forward to working with me and getting to know me.
He said I seemed like I'm going to be fun...
I am a fun person to work with...
That's why I knew this was going to be awesome working for this wonderful company.....
And now I'm looking for another job because of one person...
Read moreBeware: this isn’t Buy For Less anymore; it’s now Pruitt’s. If you are expecting Buy For Less prices, you’re going to be disappointed. Nearly everything in here is now higher priced than other grocery stores, in some cases over dollar more than the exact same item at Crest. They even had a sign in front of the Horizon Organic milk falsely claiming to have the best price on it (sorry; that’s actually Walmart). I bought a pint of half-and-half that was priced the same as a quart at other stores.
We visited the meat aisle and purchased 3 “porterhouse” steaks for Father’s Day. I have to say I was very disappointed in their quality. Mine in particular was quite fibrous and tough, even though it was perfectly cooked (seared and rare). Full of gristle, and well-nigh impossible to chew. Pretty sure they too were falsely labeled; they looked identical to the “t-bone” steaks also for sale. And they were all old, having that odd “buttery” smell of meat that’s about to turn. (that experience is what prompted this review). Yes, I went ahead and cooked them having experience in such matters.
Most disappointing of all was the extreme increase in house-made salsa prices! $4.99 for like a quarter-pound of salsa?? Basically a cup??? GTFO. That’s literally quadruple what it was when it was BFL. Ok; so this location is clearly no longer my “go to” for fresh-made salsa. That’s ok; mine was always better anyway, but BFL was always a solid second, and an acceptable substitute if I didn’t have time or energy to make my own. Guess it’s all on me now.
So why two stars instead of one? Like Buy For Less before it, they do still have some unique items I haven’t found anywhere else. They do have a good selection of Made in Oklahoma items. And their avocados were great, perfectly ripe and ready to go; we were able to make guacamole the same day, something we usually have to go to Morelo’s to accomplish (no hardship, that; we have a Morelo’s less than half a mile from us). But they were on sale so it could have been a special buy situation rather than a regular thing. In fact their produce section was still as extensive as BFL’s.
Time will tell if those positives remain. I’ll leave that for others to discover, however. If you live close, Pruitt’s might be worth it for the convenience factor, but I don’t,...
Read moreYou can find some good deals. Many items are priced well. The store is clean and easy to navigate, and the checkout people are super sweet. On the flip side, this store skates a thin line between posting sale items and bate and switch.
We recently went in after work for a one-day sale on strawberries. The ad said limited quantities. By 5pm, there were none left. One of the people in the produce area offered the strawberries, which were much more expensive. I said at least 3 times that I only wanted those on sale. She continued to walk toward the more costly berries, repeating that I could buy those.
We moved on and picked up a few things. While in the store, one of the employees told us that someone came in early and bought 64 lbs of strawberries. With limited quantities, that had to have put a good dent in what they had.
I posted a reply to the sold-out notice on the Facebook page, only to see that they had deleted the post entirely. I emailed corporate and am still waiting for an answer. It was a short request in both places: to have them put quantity limits per purchase moving forward.
With their lack of reply and deletion of Facebook posts, was it, in fact, a ploy to get us into the store? There appears to be no sincere desire to have enough to get through the day. It seems no effort will be made to limit purchase quantities moving forward. It is...
