Jackson has earned all the stars in the sky, in my opinion. I’m confident I’m not the only customer to take notice. My daughter and I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Jackson last weekend. We were immediately struck by his unique sophisticated style, poise and grace. (Think, Rita Hayworth. Stunning across the board in his outward presentation.) And yet, there is sooo much more than meets the eye here! Jackson’s catchingly dynamic personality, plus attention to customer care was like nothing I’ve ever experienced in the make-up, skin and hair care arena. That is a period statement. I’ve been in a high producing sales environment since 2008, and I can spot this type of talent from a mile away. Jackson has it in spades, darling. In spades! He was exceedingly attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. He provided, on the spot, thoughtful responses to each question we asked. And I am here to tell you, he got it right. Every time. What’s more, he’s kind and genuine. I know that when I see it too, most especially in today’s culture. People like Jackson should be appreciated; commended for their excellent works! In short, my daughter and I couldn’t be more pleased with our visit to this Ulta location, and the products Jackson recommended. Huge kudos to the hiring manager responsible for bringing him on! Read moreI will say all of the regular employees at this location have been very nice and very helpful. However, I have had several bad experiences with the manager with the long dark hair. I'm really not one to leave bad reviews but after the most recent experience I feel like it's necessary. I needed to exchange something I bought with points. She refused to apply the same dollar amount discount to the item I wanted to exchange the other item for. She stated "they don't do that anymore the system has changed" and that my points that went towards that item ($40 worth) would just go back to my account. I tried to explain that is never how they have done it and I would not get the same dollar amount worth if just that chunk of points went back because the value goes up greatly when you hit the 2000 which is what I used. She got even more of an attitude and just refused to do anything else. I truly don't understand why there has been so much attitude in my interactions with her, I am very polite and have never been demanding or pushy. I called the other location I typically went to before I moved and the manager there that has always been amazing said I can come exchange my product no problem and they would adjust the price. I told her what I was told at the other store and she said that is not true, that it doesn't have anything to do with their system, they just manually adjust the price. Read moreI scheduled a hair appt with Kimber to have my hair cut and colored purple with Pravana vivids dye. I arrived for my appt and was told Ulta no longer carries Pravana and that the fun colors they carry aren't as vivid as Pravana. Kimber told me it would be $160 to cut, bleach, and dye my hair purple, but I decided to just get my hair bleached because I didn't want to settle for a dark purple color that I didn't want. I assumed it would be much cheaper than the price she quoted me to get it dyed. I was wrong. I was charged $143, and that's with a 20% discount, to have my hair bleached and NOT colored. I called the next day to see if they would fix it and dye it purple but the salon manager told me it would be another $140. Almost $300 to dye my hair one color?! That's ridiculous and not the price I was quoted in the store.
