I needed a simple double-flange pin that any jeweler should have for my watch. I was referred by every pawn shop and jeweler in town to "The Jewelry Doctor" in the Oak Park Mall.

In 2011, I had taken my watch up there to be worked on and was insulted by the owner so I took my business elsewhere.

The nice lady who owns this shop has always been respectful to myself and my property as if it were her own.

She also took another double-flanged pin that did not fit EXACTLY, but she had trimmed it down to fit so that I could wear my watch again, when she had the exact same tools, perhaps less than, "The Jewelry Doctor", replaced it all for $10...I told her I only had $5 on me at the time; she told me "just come back tomorrow." I gave her the $5 I had, and the next day, paid her the other $5 I owed her.

Was pleasant until I went against her opinion on what size my ring should be, after that the time estimates given previously doubled and it was going to take 7 days. After 4 days we called to check the status (since that was the initial estimate given) and were pretty much told don't call me I will call you, it will be done on the 7th day.
