If I could give them no stars, I would!
My five-year-old daughter, walk-through their pizza street door and fell injuring her knee.
As we headed to the register, I asked her if she wanted to stay or go home. Reaching the cashier, I informed him of the fact that the floor was wet and the rug was flipped over causing my child to fall and injure herself. The man had no concern whatsoever, not even an apology for the floor being wet.
The only thing to come out of his mouth was one child and one adult?
Clearly he was uninterested in the safety of the customers.
After sitting ourselves, my daughter went for food. She took an aisle that happened to be blocked off with chairs and realize too late and headed back, as she was on our way back she had a follower.
One very disgruntled Manager, she was very irritated and annoyed that my child would have the audacity to walk down newly mopped floor. Not that it was unsafe, but now that they would have to re-mop it. This was quite enough an alarming, since prior my daughter had fallen due to their lack of supervision for the entrance being wet do to the snow.
The women wouldn’t leave our table towering over us, she was very rude an loud an I rate.
I explained that had she known that it was blocked off and wet she would never of gone over there, That prior to sitting down she had fallen at the front door. That had she known that the floor was slick and blocked off at the end she would never of gone that direction.
Oh well we know she’s fine, other wise she wouldn’t be walking...
Ugh. That doesn’t matter, not being invested in the safety of your customers is an issue!
She then proceeded to watch us eat, tried to remove our drinks and plates from us. Then demand we except a discount on our food an leave.
I asked for the manager at this point, but she turned out to be. Then I asked for the GM number, which she refused to give me. That’s when she decided that she was going to call the police and throw us out.
I decided at some point to record during all this.
I was not arrested, but my child was traumatize and injured in all this.
This was a horrible experience. My child didn’t deserve this. Horrible...
Read moreI was hungrier than a hostage and have been on this pizza craving kick lately so I thought about Pizza Street cause Ive been there before .I love the taste of their Pizza and how you can request a specialty pizza which I requested a thin crust Pepperoni Jalepeno which is easier on my diabetes somewhat. There regular pizza crust is amazing and I love the taste of their sauce and how the pizza crust has a crunch to it that's unforgettable and unique in my opinion is what makes me like it more. They also have deserts and a self serve soda fountain. I opted to pay about a dollar more to get a paper cup so I wouldn't have to drink out a cup that had 1000 different mouths on it. I do that everywhere I eat out though. The atmosphere is ok and a little dim in my opinion but there's alot of places to sit in there. The staff is a different story and are beyond friendly and I was greeted upon entering by a pleasantly friendly senorita and when I asked other staff about specific pizzas they were eager to satisfy my hungers needs. I was very impressed that they already had a Pepperoni Jalepeno pizza on the buffet because alot of places usually don't. So when in Olathe and you want a very reasonably priced Pizza Buffett to go to, then definitely give Pizza Street a try because you won't be dissapointed or leave hungry. Sorry I didn't have any photos this time but I will be having them next...
Read moreI’m disappointed, My large family and myself have enjoyed going to Pizza street for almost two decades. Today my husband and I took our three kids in to eat after some appts we had. My husband has allergies and can’t eat any of the food here, he knows how much our kids enjoy it so he brings us still. Usually they let him sit with us without paying (even though there is a sign posted stating you must pay to sit) so I appreciate them accommodating us. Today we went in as normal and I explained (as I always do) The cashier said he needed to check with the manager, she walked over and gave push back, my husband said he was fine with paying, he didn't want to argue. he was holding his Tea from McDonald's, she said he also couldn't bring that in. My husband was frustrated at this point but said that was fine and that he would take it back out to the car and asked if he could just go ahead and pay for all of the buffets. The younger female manager was then very rude and told him no and that we all needed to leave. We were shocked, the kids were extremely confused and honestly so were we. I have a rather large family and this use to be on the rotation for after church lunch, I guess we are no longer...
