The food was ok, but the restaurant was cold, it was pricy for what we got, and the employees were acting like we were inconveniencing them....whilst ordering from a kiosk. We had a large group with three separate orders, so it took some time to order our food at the kiosks. They were standing around sighing and within actual seconds of hitting "enter" were screaming, "take a number!" Like, chill, and at least let me get my credit card back in my wallet first. Note - I'm not a slow mover either and am tech savvy, so I'd hate to see how they'd treat people who are slower moving and/or aren't as proficient on kiosks. I could see rushing us if there was a line, but there was not one single person in line behind us the entire time we were ordering. Not one.
Additionally, it was crazy to me that there was a tip request on the screen. We ordered from a kiosk, self-served our drinks, grabbed our own napkins and utensils, our food was delivered by a literal robot, and then we had to bring our bowls and trash back to put up ourselves. What exactly do you want a tip for?? Standing there having a bad attitude? We already paid $60+ for lunch for 2 adults and a child. Now, you're asking for more?
Suggestions - as the food actually wasn't bad - ditch the tip request, keep the kitchen staff, and limit the front-of-house staff to just one pleasant individual who actually wants to have a job and knows how to interact in society. Anyone beyond that is excess, and the lack of customers on a Sunday at noon (on a week where the Chiefs were playing Monday night) and the request for tips for doing nothing indicates the restaurant may benefit from lowering labor costs anyways. Have 1 floater person, too, that can cover your front-of-house person's breaks, run dirty dishes back, do food prep, clean tables, stock the drink and silverware station, etc. The potential is definitely there - hence why not a 1 star review - but these are the things hurting the business. Also, if I'm being honest, I only gave 3 stars, as I wanted to provide real feedback but didn't want to hurt your Google rating, but in my...
Read moreMy son and I have been 3x and thoroughly enjoyed our 1st 2x, the food and the entire experience. Tonight, our 3rd x, we had decided to order to-go because the 1st 2x we had so much leftovers to bring home, we just to decided to be prepared to bring it home. We were terribly disappointed in our portions this time. The 1st 2x, I had about 5 or 6 shrimp in my bowl but this time, I only had 2. I felt that the amount of noodles was only about 1/2 as much as the 1st 2x. My son’s order had about the same amount of noodles but he had ordered an additional amount, so really it was less because we paid extra for the additional noodles. There didn't seem to be as much broth in either bowl as well. I know sometimes a to-go order might be a slight difference in amounts but for the exact same purchase, we received about half for the to-go order. I will think twice before ordering...
Read moreI got a poke bowl, some of the rice was a bit hard, and not very flavorful but there were a decent amount of toppings, the pork dumplings were really good, I enjoyed the sauces they put with it. The octopus ball things were good but there were some harder pieces I spit out, my boyfriend actually didn’t like them at all he said the texture and taste was off and unlike me he’s tasted octopus before. The crab ragoon was HIGHLY disappointing… it’s not only cheese ragoon there isn’t even any fake crab it’s just cheese, and it was worse than the all you can eat Mongolian bbq down the road. Some of it made my bf gag, not worth it for $39 genuinely wish I could get a refund as I threw most of it away.
[edit it’s been about an hour 45 mins I wouldn’t recommend my stomach is definitely acting up and IV not eaten anything but...
