Extremely overpriced Kratom!!!!!!! Go to any other head shop in the KC area and you can get better quality more consistent Kratom for only $10 an ounce. This place charges $15.95 an ounce!!! They claim that they give reoccurring customers a 20% discount but that still comes out to $12.76 an ounce. According to their staff they make most of their revenue from Kratom which is why they overcharge big time!!! Trust me there is better Kratom at other places for a lot less. Not to mention the quality of Kratom at this place is never consistent. Sometimes it’ll make you sick and other times you won’t even feel anything after taking a bunch. They claim it’s because of crop harvest times but that is a lie. It’s because they buy the cheapest they can from Thailand and package it themselves which means you never know what you’re going to get. I stopped going to this place because of all of this. Lastly, they have a donation jar at their check out counter to some Kratom association that they say they will match your donation 2 to 1. This is a scam. I’ve seen them with my own eyes take that money and never donate anything which I verified by speaking to a member of this association. They’re doing it to act like they care but the truth is Kratom sales are the only thing keeping them open. They also have no problem selling to people on a daily basis that are addicted to Kratom! Yes you can become addicted to Kratom!!! It effects the same part of the brain that opiates do and if you don’t believe me just do a little research...

Additional information about this place. Went in lastnight and I swore up and down as God is my witness the item I picked out was priced at $28.99 the guy said he was going to wrap it so it wouldn't break it or anything. I said ok thank you and started browsing around while he finished. I pay and I'm like wow why so much money. I get in the car I'm driving off looking at the receipt it says $34.99 plus $3 in tax like seriously. And I'm confused like what uh no it was priced at $28.99 So I'm home unwrapping my purchase and I noticed he took off the sticker price cleaned it up and wrapped it. So I'm saying to myself why take it off and place it on the packaging 🤔 with a complete new sticker price higher then what it was priced at. So I'm thinking I shop here every once in awhile so if he did that he must of done this to me in the past and probably not just me. Even if he noticed wow that's not the right price for that item he should've said ma'am I do apologize but this item is priced wrong and I would of said ok no thank you and leave the store. I can't bring it back its not a resale item once its sold and out the store there's no return. When I say I have been shopping here for years I mean YEARS! I absolutely love this shop. Everyone is so kind and it feels like family. I’m a pretty hefty crystal and trinket collector - so I’ve been to my fair share of metaphysical shops. This one is by far the best for so so so many reasons. The people who you encounter here from workers to other shoppers are always so kind. Every time you go in there is something new, especially with the crystals. This is a clean store that is easy to navigate especially for beginners in crystal collection. If you ever have questions about anything, everyone is super knowledgeable.
