Not pleased, this was my first visit to Jade nails. I previously had dip done on my natural nails- I came in to have dip removed and go for gel nails..I had three different people work on my nails..the first man wrapped my fingers with aluminum and nail remover..that was fine.. .I waited about 10 minutes..this was mid day on a Sunday, not busy, just me and another two people who were together.. anyway..the second man came over and started removing the dip- I felt he had an attitude that the pink glitter dip wasn't coming off as easy as he wanted and seem upset he was getting glitter in his own fingers ( I mean this is part of your job isn't it, your gonna get polish on you..)so he periodically stopped to clean his own hands- it's not my fault the dip was very glittery and he got it on his finger plus they were speaking you know- in there own language so it just seemed like he was upset, anyway, finally got my nails cleaned and he started to somewhat shape them, not the best job but ok, now a third person came to apply the gel- I chose a somewhat galaxy looking gel, now on the sample it was applied well and you could not see through it, my nails are see through - it seemed like she was bothered that I said they look so like I can see through my nails- she replied just needs another coat- I asked if she can apply at least 2 more coats as I can still see through my nails and the sample was darker - she then started speaking her language to the other employee and seemed annoyed...um I was kind and patient and if I'm having to pay 30 for gel and 10 for dip removal I expect it to look really good, I'm not pleased and won't be returning to this location. Just thought I'd share my experience. Site won't let me attach a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been going here for about 2 months now since itās very close to my work. Prices are usually fair. Sometimes I feel overcharged for designs but I still tip and come back. The last time I went I was there for a very long time (almost 2.5 hours) just to get a refill , add two nails (they break/fall off very fast and easily) and then I removed the gel off of my nails and got them repainted. Well they charged me $30 just to remove gel and get it repainted which if that were the case I wouldāve removed the gel myself, had I known. Then my fill with 2 broken nails and two designs costs $64 which I guess isnāt terrible but their menu board says refill is $30 and gel is $15 so about $45 plus two designs and two replacement nails so not too bad. I donāt mind paying for designs and what not but when I am paying full price and there for hours I do kinda expect good shaped nails but I always go home with usually 2 nails that are lumpy and not filed down correctly. Everytime I try to point out an issue they get rude and it makes me feel uncomfortable so I just deal with it. I think after the last two times going and not getting good service I am done with this place⦠I asked for plaid last time and she didnāt even know how to do it right and we were arguing back and forth about how itās done and she was annoyed and none of the lines were straight and it was just very sloppy. Also the whole time she was playing Vietnamese youtube on full blast and kept stopping doing my nails to change her YouTube video or search another.. pretty unprofessional and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love Jade nails. This is saying something. Im 51. I never really got my nails done before, but now that I've started coming here, I'm addicted. I started coming because I had read that a few women had had success with acrylic helping to repair a damaged nail bed. (split from tip toward knuckle) Well, I've been coming for about a year, and while that isn't fixed I love having my nails look great. Michelle is the best at it too. She is so so so particular about my nails being absolutely perfect EVERY time. And my nails aren't helpful. I spend a lot of time in the garden and washing dishes, and still they tend to hold up for about 3 to 4 weeks. I've had a pedicure or two also (generally I can manage this myself and the polish will stay on), but mostly I have gel nails because otherwise, myt regular polish will chip in a heartbeat. For my pedicures, I had the regular pedicure. It has a little massage and scrubbing and hot towels. It's GREAT! Once I went home and by dinner my gel nails had lost some of their shine. I texted Michelle and she easily accommodated me the next day to fix them right up at no charge. It had never happened before and I was so disappointed, but the next day, quick fix and viola! My nails were great. And I KNOW from friends that Jade is an economical choice as well! I almost hate to write this review because it means I'll be driving more customers there--I'll be losing my personal...
