Mini Mall Storage - Olive Branch — Local services in Olive Branch

Reserved my U-Haul a week in advance and still had issues when picking it up. My reservation was scheduled for 8:30 on 10/12/24. On 10/11/24 I got a call from the center confirming my appt and they let me know if I was running late to give them a call. I showed up to the store before time and still had to wait an hour.

At 8;40 no one was at the location. Called for assistance around and spoke with to Tia who was very rude. She said the the person opening the location would be there in 10 minutes and then hung up. Now, its 9:00 AND no one has showed up I called again and the lady got an attitude talking crazy to the point where I was about to go and see her. FACE TO FACE. I had to calm down and remove myself from the premises for a while.

Long story short a young lady showed up, said she didnt even know why Tia aka dumb a gave me a 10 minute eta because the young lady knew she was coming from Hernando MS, to Olive Branch MS.

BUT NOT ONLY THAT, when the employee who was late finally showed up, she gave a horrible excuse about what she did the night before (kids game and husband out of town for golf tournament-- which i cared LESS about) but forgot to leave out that she showed up to work with Alcohol on her breath. She then apologized, said the lady I spoke to who is named Tia was a horrible person and then gave me a "$78.00 discount" which didnt help much considering now i was an hour behind on moving. She also tried to make me feel some type of way by giving me this discount saying it eats into commission which- they shouldn't worry about and focus on retraining their crew so they can actually make more commission. Due to their negligence I actually didnt finish moving until 12 am that night. I waited at the Citizens Storage for an hour and a half before someone got there. By the way, the lady who had the attitude drives a maroon car, and the young lady who assisted me with alcohol on her breath had a white SUV. They both float between locations per ms.white SUV.

Im sure they think I forgot about my horrible experience and hoped i didn't review them on google but I definitely didnt (: next stop, BBB and U-Haul directly. Don't rent with a 3rd party, especially this one. I spent over $700.00 on that U-Haul and the service...

I just would like to say that I was extremely happy with my choice of extra space storage! I walked into the first location that I found in made a reservation, and simply asked was I getting a good deal?it was in Olive Branch Mississippi on commerce drive I can't remember her name but she helped me out and found another location right around the corner for cheaper and a drive-up unit! which is a bonus for me because I dropped table on my foot when I moved here so I have friends helping out! And as well mr. Sanchez really worked with me on the price since I was only getting it for months and just coming into town! One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a commercial establishment. After doing research, I decided to rent a locker from this location even though they were the highest place in town, they were closest to home and offered a first month free coupon. After battling through the attitude the attendant had to find a acceptable unit, I was informed that the coupon would not be honored because they only had one unit left! When I called her out on the bad business practice, I was told to leave the store.

Save yourself some grief and call around town. You will find better people and better prices. I ended up finding a climate control unit for the same price as one of their non climate controlled unit...
