I ordered a 3-veggie plate with an additional side and asked for everything to be packaged separately. Upon arrival, I noticed the individual containers were much smaller than expected. A gentleman next to me ordered the same veggies, but his were packaged together in a larger box. I pointed out the size difference to the cashier, who dismissed it by saying the portions were “smushed” into the smaller containers.

I explained the obvious disparity, and another staff member came out to justify the issue, saying they couldn’t fit the correct portion size into the smaller containers. This makes no sense—if I’m paying the same price, I expect the same serving size regardless of packaging.

The staff was short-tempered and dismissive throughout the interaction. At one point, the cashier even waived me off, unaware that I hadn’t paid yet. I had to remind her to ring me up.

For a first-time experience, this was incredibly disappointing. I haven’t even tried the food yet, but the poor customer service alone is enough to make me not...

First off, customer service is TOP TIER! I had to call her a couple weeks earlier to schedule a large catering order for work, and she stayed on the phone with me for over 30 minutes, answering all my questions and working with me while I pieced together my work order. She was very professional, returned a voice mail I left very promptly, and followed up with me several times, with updates, the day the catering order was set to be picked up. Food... the chicken was TERRIFIC, 10/10! Everything was pipping hot and delicious! For the sides, I ordered mashed potatoes, greens, Mac and cheese, cornbread, and yams! Everything was so tasty and seasoned just right! I kept getting compliments on the catering order and everyone kept asking where is it located, etc. Such a hidden gem, but well worth the drive and money! Such a great experience with BOB! Listen, get there now! I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance were second to none and simply refreshing. The food was so good that I’ve been there twice this week, and brought my family with me on the second visit. I’m very picky about soul food and you can tell this food is made with love. I don’t eat meat so I ordered the macaroni and cheese, greens, yams, and purple hull peas and the food was chef’s kiss! 🤌🏾Everything was well seasoned and it was just a party in my mouth. 🥰 I can’t forget to mention the fried corn that had on my first visit which was soooooooo good!
