I recently ended a long-term relationship, in which I had gained close to 60 pounds, and I knew I needed to fall in love with myself again. When I saw Linger Boutique come across my Instagram feed, I immediately decided this was the place to start. Aurora greeted me when I came in and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I told her my situation and said that I wanted some form of lingerie as well as a sleep set. She immediately related to me and shared her own journey with learning to love her body, and I instantly felt like I came to the perfect, safe, comfortable space. She took me around the store pointing out her favorite pieces as well as pieces she knew would fit my body best. She listened to what I liked and disliked and pretty soon I had a fitting room full of items to try. I'm in my second trimester and was visiting a kind friend who told me that it was time to bite the bullet in invest in new bras. (Mine were literally cutting in to my skin too small.) However, it was NYE and most lingerie stores were closed. I'm so glad we found ourself at Linger! I was able to get my new measurements and was even more surprised to walk out with a cute lacy top that not only fit but made me feel sexy in my new body shape. (My spouse appreciates it too.)
