Read moreI volunteered with 2 elementary schools who took their collective 1st grade classes for a field trip & to watch a play entitled "Flight School"! Being Abt 💯% first time viewers, they did such an incredible job being lil people!! The Awe in their eyes & their overall experience of theater was irreplaceable! About an hour into the show & closely approaching the end, you could feel the energy like the "wave" at a sporting event...all getting the wiggles!! Arrive early enough to travel through slightly congested & tight traffic. The parking meters can be fed quarters or Card...I believe a $25.00 parking ticket will be issued 4 failing to adhere to your time. Staff & Regular volunteers were wonderful!! There was only 1 fine wine matured encounter for "me" I found to be a little snooty if you will. With 🍷 smell, swirl, taste, & then spit, so no biggie at all. "Okay, smile, & keep moving" works wonders!
The theater was orderly, well maintained, well lit, well equipped & the bathrooms were great.
Our performers & materials presented were relevant, funny, & engaging from the beginning to questions & good byes @ the end. Good message for children to take away with...

It was so sticky that at one point when I tried to move my feet, the tar like substance, on the floor, pulled the heel cap off of my very expensive Stewart Wiseman heels! After the performance, the four of us stayed seated waiting for the room to clear so we could leave easily. When we stood to go we all checked the flooring out and found what appeared to be tar on all the flooring. In that isle were coins and other items lodged into it and were mostly buried in the goo. Not only is that disgusting, it is distracting from the performance and costly if your shoes are damaged like mine were. Now I'll need to take my shoes to my shoe repair person and have the heels re-tipped. Other than that the seats are not very comfortable, but the setup is visually stimulating. They definitely need new flooring, chairs and a parking garage. If the floors hadn't had tar or a tar like substance on them, it would have gotten 5 stars because of the well kept nostalgia vibe. I...
