Came here for the first time this morning for a birthday party for 5-year-old twins. Parents and kids were highly entertained between the mini bowling and bar ;). No stinky bowling shoes required for this kind of bowling, and the balls remind me of ski balls, so a lot lighter for little kids to manage. Convenient for parents to order food at Noli's or the burger joint that are connected, and drinks at the bar (and Sundays are all day happy hour, which was an unexpected bonus). It was a smidge crowded at times, and the people bowling directly beside our group were oddly looking for a fight. They honestly looked like meth heads, which surprised me for this area of town. They kept giving us ugly looks and saying rude comments. Towards the end of the party, they actually tried to start of fight with the birthday kids' parents, which put a damper on the fun and cleared the party out fast. Management was apologetic and opened up a few lanes a bit longer for the kids that didn't flee the party to make-up for the crazy customers, (which was a nice gesture). However, due to the sketchy clientele on a Sunday morning, uncertain if we will ever return to this location. Other than the...
Read moreCame here for the first time in support of the Nebraska Wildlife Rehab event the other night and WOW! I am so eager to come back. This was so much fun! It was quite exciting to see that it was REAL bowling, and not just pins hanging from strings. There was a little learning curve as there are no finger holes on the little balls, so it took a few rounds to get a feel for how to throw the "bowling ball." Seriously a great time, nice atmosphere, AND if you get 3 strikes or spares in a row....you get 3 shots of wild turkey 101. Woot! That didn't happen during our rounds but heck still a neat incentive if you drink some strong whiskey! The music is fabulous as well... I vividly remember lots of great (not over played) 90s classics I hadn't heard in awhile. I highly recommend trying this place out if you're looking for...
Read moreI thought the lighting in there could be better. You can see the pins fine. But you can't see the lanes very well. Which is the part you need to see in order to aim your rolls. The racks are also slow. So paying by the hour you probably can bowl 1 less game than at a regular bowling alley because they are so slow. I think the value would be better if they improved that. Food and beverages were conveniently located in relation to the lanes. But drinks were expensive. If money is no object this is a fun place. But if you're looking for value I would...
