I was looking for a new tattoo artist as my previous artist could not finish and I stumbled upon Ironwood Ink and I’m so glad I did! I had both arms completely outlined and it was a total mess from the previous artist who did the work. I was super nervous that it wasn’t going to be fixable but I decided to reach out to Ironwood Ink to see if it was something one of the artist would take on and hopefully salvage it. I emailed The front desk gal Nicole and she was super helpful and very welcoming when I came to the Shop. I was able to get in the same day to speak with the artist Kennady Grinvalds about my arms to see if it’s something that could be fixed. Kennady definitely lifted the weight off my shoulders because she was willing to help me and take on this project. This project is massive and I’m currently working on it with her as I write this. Kennady is absolutely killing this cover up and I couldn’t be happier with her work. She truly is an amazing artist and I highly recommend her to anyone!
Update 4-30-2024 I just had my final tattoo session today on this 70 hour project and I couldn’t be happier! Kennady put so much time and effort into making this project come together. I had a time frame that I needed to get this done and she nailed it! Finishing two full sleeves in a month is no simple task and I can’t thank her enough! Kennady you’ve earned a client for...
Read moreI really love the Ironwood takes pride in showing kindness and that all the artists take walk-ins at some point or another. As this is a great way for each artist to expand their knowledge and gain new clients. A great artist never stops learning and growing. You can tell the moment you walk in to the shop that the work culture is healthy, which is a big compliment because most tattoo shops from my previous experience have a lot of drama. The cleanliness of this shop is another reason why I will continue going here (even the bathrooms are clean).
Shout out to Austin, who did my half floral sleeve. Austin always has a positive attitude and works well with others. His flowers are one of a kind and he takes his time which I appreciate specially since it’s something I will have on my body for the rest of my life. I highly recommend Ironwood Ink, I have also been impressed with the owner as you can really tell he is continually working hard to make improvements along the way and provide top notch quality services. Keep up...
Read moreEnded up being blamed for getting a staph infection from this establishment. Great work 🙄 I have 14 other tattoos, I know how to take care of one. I did everything I was supposed to do. No one or anything touched it because of how painful it was. I did not see the artist set up his station let alone clean it. Now anytime I go to get a tattoo, I will watch them clean it and set up because I got a Staph infection from this shop. Actually reached out to a few people who got their tattoos here as well, they have also mentioned getting a Staph infection. On. Different. Days. They have not gone back either. This shop does not take blame for it and people are scared to speak up because the shop says "its normal to have that much pain, use a lotion and ice it". No. If you go get a tattoo here and it's the most painful tattoo after 3 days, go to a doctor. Catch it early. Don't wait as long as I did because the shop said "its normal, it...
