Came here for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour Book and Anthology vinyl release. This is consistently one of my favorite Target locations, as it is well maintained and has great clearance items most of the time. The event this morning for Black Friday was a bit unorganized and lacking in communication, but overall went smoothly was the line was allowed to be moved inside. I arrive at 5:45 and there were about 20-25 people in line ahead of me. While in line, no one communicated with where I was line for directions once we entered the store. When we were let in, the staff had divided people into two lines, but there wasn't any way of knowing which was which. For those of us in the back, we didn't even know that some had gotten "tickets" to go straight to the check outs. It wasn't a huge deal, but did lead to some confusion overall. The display was nice and full when I arrived. There were not price tags in the slots, which IDK if that was important to others, but having the slots empty wasn't helpful for those who weren't familiar with the pricing for the items. I had grabbed one book and stepped away to look at women's clothing. When I went back to get another book and the vinyl, I was instructed to check out immediately, and then return to shopping if I'd like. It was just fairly inconsistent and poorly structured. Considering this was the only event in store that morning, it would have been great to have a bit better planning behind it. We heard from someone else in line that they had a friend in Texas who was given a number and told to wait in her car-- it was 57* there! (It...
Read moreWent into this store to do some Christmas Shopping my mom wanted me to use her target gift cards to help pay for my sons Christmas presents, I have a limited spending limit because I’m a single mom. I inserted my mom’s circle account where all the gift cards had been added. After I checked out I realized the amount was not taken off. I went to customer service to see if they could help. They returned all the items then needed the access code for the gift-cards. My mom sent me the codes. They had to manually input all the gift cards so I patiently waited. After all that they put my returned amount on another gift card. Basically they all got put on another gift card. And at that point I was so frustrated for being there forever, that I just left feeling defeated. Cause why would I want to use a gift card to just get my gift card back? The next day I came in asking if there was anything I could do to get my money back because I paid with cash and I just wanted my money back. I had the first receipt the second receipt but because I was never given a third receipt there was absolutely nothing they could do. I gave up and left the store in tears because now all my money was on a target gift card that I didn’t even want to spend at Target. I will never spend another penny at a Target again. If I could use less stars...
Read moreTarget often has very good samples in the cosmetics department and I rely on these to test new products before I buy. Nobody wants to pay full price for something the hate or their skin don’t agree with. I have never had an issue before but the last time I was there the woman stopped me at the door telling me not all the items I had were samples. Even claimed a few not samples then saying oh you’re right. However there were a few she took back from me saying I couldn’t have them even though they were on the table with all the other samples and in trial size. I was extremely embarrassed as it appeared to all the customers around me that I was stealing. I was mortified. Still in shock when I got home I told my neighbor about what had happened and she decided to try and see what would happen. Sure enough the same samples still out on the countertop. And same thing happens to her. So she walks the lady back there and the lady points to a sign on a small trash can on top of the table that said items with out plastic wrap and with barcode. Why even put them out for customers if you are going to take it back at the door causing someone to be humiliated like that? Come on...
