I’ve been using this Kohll’s for my Cpap supplies for several years, and my recent encounter is my last straw. In the past, it’s always been a challenge to at least get the respiratory dept to even answer the phone, but I’m absolutely done with them. I needed two (2) small parts for my newly replaced Phillips Cpap machine. So once I FINALLY was able to get Kohlls respiratory dept to answer the phone, I was greeted with the usual rudeness and a general lack of willingness to help or answer a couple of questions. So, they told me my family doc needed to send in a prescription for these two (2) parts I needed for the new machine. The did offer to contact them to send a prescription, AND told me they’d call me once things were in place. Of course they didn’t call. A week later I called Kohlls to check on the status, no answer as usual, I ended up going thru the pharmacy number, I asked them to please find a respiratory person, finally after a ten minute wait, a live person!! I asked if they have everything they needed from the doc, they said yes. So, the following day the wife and I drove there to get the two (2) parts I needed. The young man that waited on me was instantly put out waiting on me, he was on a computer and was just all around rude. Anyway, he pulled up my records and said I needed a “sleep study” to get these two parts. 1) an elastic strap 2) a nose piece. I suggested to him he should have that study on file, but told me it wasn’t there. This was to be run through my health insurance but said he could sell me the parts but I’d have to pay out of pocket. I forget the amount he quoted but it was well over $100 for those two parts. I decided to wait, see if there was another alternative. Happily there was!! I’d like to share this information::: AMAZON. Yes, most accessories for most Cpap machines are available from AMAZON. I ordered the two items, which included two nose pieces and the strap for a total of $34 delivered to my door the next day. And yes, they were the exact items that Kohlls were trying to sell me for...
Read moreI like to use small local businesses whenever possible. I won't be using this one going foward. Followed the instruction on my email for confirmation of a COVID-19 test, paid out of my insurance. Wrong instructions on email, no signage, person in parking lot ignored me for over 45 minutes. Being instructed to stay in my car, I called the pharmacy. Phone rang for 15 min without answer so I went in. While outside was robust and busy due to heavy testing demands, inside was not. Staff was joking around tossing paper balls at each other as the phone continued to ring with my call. I apologized to the pharmacist once I got her attention for coming in. She asked me if I tried to call, my phone in hand still ringing and the number of the pharmacy and the phone right by her hand still ringing. I responded yes, did you answer my call and pointed to the phone. I also handed the instructions to her. She confirmed the instructions were incorrect. No offer or attempt was made to give me direction, so I repeatedly ask how am I supposed to know the instructions emailed are incorrect and what do I need to do? After what seemed like endless prodding, she asked if there was any other parking spots I could move to in the parking lot, which was a fairly ridiculous response since I parked where instructed and had been ignored for 45 minutes and the parking lot was now completely over ran with cars due to the high demand. They asked me to return to my car and they would send someone out. This did finally happen but the uncaring attitude of all the staff was completely unacceptable and much more disturbing that either having waiting so long or being ignored in the first place. I won't deal with a pharmacy to fill prescriptions, provide vaccinations or do testing that employs staff that are oblivious, uncaring,...
Read moreI have had to deal with such incompetency it is scary! The individuals that answer the phone are completely, severely incompetent! I have received incorrect information. Told my Dr. has to resubmit request forms. Told there wasn't a response regarding a prior authorization, when all along the insurance had indeed responded! I actually had to request speaking to a manager to receive the correct answer. I then requested the prescription to be mailed, it is a monthly fill, put credit card on file and gave address. I called to verify the prescription had at least been filled. Had to give the girl the name 3 times and the birthdate 3-4 times before she finally located the file. Was informed the prescription (supposed to be auto filled and mailed) in fact was not filled nor was it inputted as an autofill or mailout!!!! Again, only way to get something done is to speak to a manager! This prescription is a special order so it isn't like they have it in stock! I wanted it mailed because I have to stand waiting for a minimum of 10-15 minutes to be acknowledged when I go in to pick up. I am usually the only one standing there waiting but no one will ask to help me. I would transfer this script to another pharmacy but there are only two pharmacies that can get this med and the other one has very limited hours. Hence, my frustration level elevates each time I am forced to have contact with them. They need to hire people that can actually answer the phone with some professionalism and competency! As well as people that can actually perform their job with accuracy!!! Pharmacies deal with medication not jelly beans! This is serious, potentially life threatening business! If you are training students, you are doing a...
