First, let me say that I’m someone that actually will enjoy going to shop with my girlfriend. Mainly, because you can educate yourself quick on your partners likes and dislikes just by this simple activity. ( Some free advice for you men whose partners drop hints all year about ideas for gifts and you still get the wrong thing )….. lol

Okay, so Valentines Day! My g/f and I were “ironically” at the mall and we so happened to walk past Riddle’s. Well, then we walked INTO Riddles and well we began to peruse the inventory of super shiny, glittery diamonds and gems - Oh my!

When approached my this amazing employee named Krista who welcomed us into the store and of course asked us what we were looking for. At that, point we were unsure but she assured us she was available to answer questions, encouraged us to walk a lap through the store and left us be. FANTASTIC. Nothing turns me away more than salespeople who think you’re going to buy. She was respectful in that and let us seach out what would eventually be a sale.

When it comes to jewelry, Im very particular. In fact, I have a very particular set of skills that enable me to pick out exclusively unique pieces. Its kinda my thing! In a Liam Neeson kinda way.

My gf had her eye in on this necklace and I could just tell as her eye lit up. Thats the one she wanted. I asked what she liked about it. Suggested other pieces but she kept talking about this necklace. We finished the walk through and I let Krista know we’d be back. She says “oh ok, have a nice day” lol. She didnt think we were coming back did ya Krista??!!! Lol. I actually wanted an Aunties Pretzel.

But as we were on the next level down, at another jewelry store. I show my gf 3 pieces and shes completely uninterested. Ok, lets gooo back up stars and back into Riddles. She immediately goes back to the necklace and Krista is helping another person. Finishes up and comes to assist us. Super nice, took the jewelry out. Showed my gf two versions. Answered questions and was just a very genuine, cool experience to have. Especially with a jewelry sale. Helped my gf try it on and helped us find a chain that complimented the stone much better. Of course, I had to use some negotiating skills and she was very pleasant to deal with there also. Worked with us a little and I was happy. But heres the kicker for me.

Krista was observant. Great communicator but also paid attention. She asked if one of us was in sales. She had just noticed a couple different qualities and traits and of course she was right. I actually am. But for me, you dont see that a whole lot. You dont really get that personal experience and interaction with people these days. Everyone is out for the sale and they dont even care to know your name. Not here! She checked all my boxes on if I would do business there again. ABSOLUTELY!

If you are looking for a no hassle, not in your face, uptight all about the sale jewelry store. Riddle’s and ask for Krista! ...

I came in on a Friday to buy my wife a ring and was greeted by Lexi who helped me for about 15 minutes. She was not pushy and she was very friendly. I decided not to get anything on Friday but came back with my wife on Saturday. They were busy but Krista came over to help us as soon as she could. She was also very friendly and not pushy at all. She helped through all of the indecisiveness and she was very patient with us. The selection of rings we were looking for was very large. They had more rings than any of the other places that we had also looked at. We finally got one picked out and Lexi came over to talk to us and remembered me from the day before. I asked if she could resize my watch and without hesitation she said she would do it for me. I will always do my jewelry shopping with Riddles, because of this specific encounter. I would highly recommend this location to anyone as the people there are so friendly and helpful. Thank you Lexi and Krista. My wife is very happy. Happy...

Chaydon went above and beyond when it came to tracking down the perfect diamond that we were looking for. He was extremely informative of the diamonds he had in store, ones he could get from other Riddles locations, competitors diamonds, and online alternatives(without pushing you one way or another). At the end of the day, Chaydon found us a perfect stone that was a better carat, cut, color, and clarity that we figured to be in the(already low)price range we were looking to stay in for the carat size. The full ring, diamond, and sizing ended up being cheaper than any store front or online site could offer. With Chaydons honesty, above and beyond service, and fair pricing throughout the entire experience you could truly tell that That was looking for a lifelong repeat customer rather than a quick one time purchase and that is exactly what he got!
