Roseland Theatre — Local services in Onancock

The movie and popcorn was good but the customer service was Ridiculous…. Took My mom and niece to the movies our total was $30 I gave the man $40 when receiving my ticket i didn’t get my $10 Change back when i asked him about it he told me i gave him 30 when i did not i only had 20 dollar bills in my wallet that night and i looked before i gave it to him he continued to go back forth over 10 dollars and i still did not get my change back instead he got out the booth and walked outside where he went I don’t know but it was very disrespectful and Rude i’ve never dealt with anything like this before and most likely won’t be going back….. I used to come to this theatre all the time as a kid. I was recently watched a Lord of the Rings video and remembered a time when my mom took me and my 4 y/o sister here to watch LOTR. She didn’t realize how long the movie was and we had to leave early. The older gentleman working there at the time gave us free movie tickets to come back another time.

I don’t know why I thought of it, but I had to look it up and see if this place was still around. I’m glad to see it is! This place is a such gem. If you want nostalgic experiences that you’ll remember 20+ years later like...

They've improved over the years. The selection of movies has gotten to be a bit better and it's nice not having to drive all the way to Salisbury Maryland to see a horror movie.. as long as they decide they're going to play one that weekend. That being said, their sound system needs Improvement, as well as their seating. I don't know why, but I always managed to find the one seat that doesn't go down all the way, or has a spring poking through it ever-so-slightly. Still, for the price, they're not a bad little...
