I had some very cherished antique pieces of furniture that were very badly damaged while being stored and moved. These were family heirlooms and the thought of losing them brought tears to my eyes and heart. We had known of Timothy Smith &Sons in Onancock, however had no idea that they did restoration work. Levi took my pieces in to his shop and started work right away. He finished my dinning table in just a few weeks so that it would be ready for the holidays. One of the pieces was a mirror that the frame parts had to be put back together like jig saw puzzles and you would never have know it was damaged. The other pieces of furniture where brought back to life and turned out better than I had ever seen them. The workmanship is excellent and the personal communication was so comforting. We bought a beautiful 1890 Eastern Shore Gothic in Onancock in 2020 and wanted to do a nice job on the exterior. We had it painted and discovered some of the boards were shot.

The team at Timothy Smith, led by Levi, crafted perfect boards and delivered them so our work crew could finish the beautifully done paint job.

Not satisfied with just that, we decided our intricately hinged shutters needed recreating. Not ALL of them, too expensive. But the thought of plastic shutters on our beauty just wouldn't do.

So, Levi and team recreated about five sets of shutters for us. Perfectly! We couldn't be happier.

I commissioned a platform bed from here and not only was it done quickly, but the quality is better than the thousand dollar bed I'd had before and it was more sturdy and gorgeous than I could have imagined.
