I have been doing my regular oil changes and services for my 2019 Highlander in Crown Toyota in Ontario for the past couple of years now. I recently visited and was extremely impressed with the service I received. My service advisor, Chris Osgood, was incredibly helpful and took the time to explain all the services I needed, including an oil change and transmission fluid change. What really stood out was when Chris identified a potential issue with my CV axle and let me know it would be covered under warranty, something no other staff member had mentioned before. I truly appreciate his thoroughness and professionalism, and that they had a loaner car for the days that my car was in their hands free of charge. I highly recommend Crown Toyota and service advisor Chris Osgood for anyone in need of reliable car maintenance.

I recently purchased a new 2025 Camry. The headliner around the sunroof area was making a crackling sound every time I drove over rough surfaces. I took my car in to Crown Toyota. AJ was my service advisor he, took really good care of me. My car was completed in two days. After the vehicle was repaired, I did a road test with AJ and the crackling sounds previously coming from the headliner completely disappeared. I’m very satisfied with the treatment I received at Crown Toyota. The repair technicians really know how to handle Toyota vehicles and the issues that arise.

I love coming to Crown Toyota dealership to get my oil change the customer service there is outstanding. They also even give you a free lunch which is awesome. My only downfall was I waited three hours for my car to get an oil change . The person that served me was Steven , he had a great professional, and friendly customer service. He went over and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied With my visit and service I had done on my car yesterday .Thank you again next time I will make an appointment. Sincerely, Lorraine .

Thursday 07/31/2025 8:15am - Rav4 hybrid 1st 5000 miles maintenance service.

We cross-checked Southern California reviews of Toyota dealers' service departments, although they have good reviews but all of them have so many bad reviews(scary!).

Today we gave the Crown Toyota service department a try and it's nothing short but excellent services. Came with the vehicle at 8:15am and finished at 10:20am. We were not in a hurry so this was fine for us. From our experiences rush jobs most of the time result in a poor quality result. Besides multipoint service inspection takes time to complete. As long as it doesn’t take longer than that which it shouldn't. Our Service Advisor, Andre Aviles explained in detail what should be done for our first 5000 miles maintenance service & keeps us updated every single step with the service progress video and report sheet with the Technician, Gabe Avina so that we know the status and plan our day accordingly. We also want to acknowledge the other 2 attendants for their services as well, one at the beginning in the front lot and the one at the end of service in a white shirt who walked us to our vehicle after it was done. Everyone did very well this time.

Based on our experiences here are a few pointers: You may want to book an appointment a few days prior so when you get there make sure you tell them to take your vehicle in before any non-appointment customers which is what they should do. This will expedite the time it takes to complete the service. If you have to come on busy days, come early. Normally they open at 7:00am but customer starts in line from 6:30am. Andre said as long as you are among the first 3 or 4 vehicles, they might get it done and ready within 1 hour and 30 minutes or less. In our case, we came during non-busy days which are Wednesday & Thursday(today). The line was not that long when we got there at 8:15am and by 9:15am there was almost nobody in line anymore. Only 1 or 2 vehicles that we saw. Not sure how busy they are in the afternoon though. Take video/photos around your vehicle on the same day in front of the dealer right before you drop your vehicle off, it's your right. So this way they won't say you lie. So protect yourself with evidence/receipt. Just like we did today before leaving the service department, check all around your vehicle to make sure no damage, check under the hood to make sure the oil crankcase cap was tightly closed, and checked the dip stick to make sure there is new oil not empty crankcase etc. and in our opinion, everyone, including the technicians and customers should be doing all these minor steps before leaving the Toyota Service Department to prevent major problems with your vehicle. These minor problems can happen at any time but are most likely to happen in the afternoon as the employees get tired towards the end of the day. Keep all paperwork for your records. They should give you all the paperwork you need & keep you posted.

Everything should be transparent/clear. This way customers will keep coming back because they can trust the Crown Toyota Service Department to take good care of their vehicles as if their own. This will also improve their reputation as the best Toyota...

Do not take your car or truck here for service. Extremely dysfunctional dealership with shady tactics. When this dealership was owned by John Elway it was run efficiently and with integrity. Now it is owned by Swickard Auto Group and has gone to hell. I had an appointment and took my truck in on a Friday morning for service of an unknown engine issue and was told it would be Monday or Tuesday before I would hear anything. Monday afternoon i called the dealership and was transferred to my service advisor's extension. No answer so I left a message.Tuesday midday I received a text message with a video walkabout of the exterior of my truck with no explanation of the status of my issue. I called the dealership to speak to my service advisor and was transferred to his extension. No answer. I left a message. An hour later I called the dealership again and asked to speak to a service manager. I was put on hold for 15 minutes listening to the inane Swickard Radio Network. When they got back to me I was informed my service advisor was not at work that day, but they were looking into the status of my truck. I should have been informed that my service advisor was not in when I initially called and regardless, another advisor should have been assigned to my vehicle in my adviser's absence. A while later someone called me and told me their recommendation is to replace my transmission and torque converter and a cost of over $5,000. Needless to say I need a second opinion. I then paid the $200 fee for the inspection, and picked up my truck. The employee who took my money asked if I wanted my paperwork printed or emailed. I requested it be emailed. It was never sent. I had to call two times to get the paperwork. Crown Toyota has become Clown Toyota. I advise you to go elsewhere! Follow up 4/22/25: After reading multiple Toyota forums online, I found compelling evidence that the problem I was experiencing could be fixed by replacing the VVTi solenoid. This $100 part solved my issue of shuddering when the the truck was shifting 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th under light load. I have a 2nd gen Tacoma 4 cylinder. Thank God I didn't drop $5200 on a rebuilt transmission at...

Dear Crown Toyota Management, I wanted to share some feedback regarding a recent service visit. During my appointment, both the tire sales/expert and service associate informed me that my tire had a large nail causing a leak. They even pointed out the supposed nail to me, so I believed it was accurate, though I did find it a bit unusual that my system did not show any alert. I was advised that since my tires were a little over two years old, I should consider replacing them. I was even thinking of doing so, despite already having purchased new tires from Costco. After the service, PJ also mentioned that my tire was leaking and that, depending on the nail’s location, it might not be repairable—suggesting I take care of it as soon as possible. Following that advice, I went to a tire repair shop right away. They inspected all four tires thoroughly and confirmed there was no nail at all—only a small rock or piece of debris that might have looked like one. This explained why no system alert appeared. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I felt disappointed that the issue was not properly verified before I was advised to replace the tires. It left me with the impression that I might have been encouraged to make a purchase unnecessarily. I wanted to share this experience respectfully, as I have always valued Toyota’s service quality and honesty. However, this visit has made me hesitant to return to Crown Toyota for future maintenance, and I may consider another dealership moving forward. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I hope this can serve as constructive input to ensure better verification...
