Update 12/2024: I left the gym over a year ago due to their rising prices, not being open 24 hours, and their deteriorating equipment. I recently decided to apply for a 3 day pass to see if there’s been any improvement in any of the above mentioned.
Anyway, I get there and I advise a male and a female at the front desk that I applied for 3-day pass. They both ask me if I’ve ever used a free or buddy pass there before. I said yes. They then proceed to ask me if I’ve been a member there before. I said yes. The female then tells me the pass only is for people who have never been to that specific gym. Right away, I knew that’s wrong cause the fine print on the pass said you could not use it if you’ve been a guest or member within the last 6 months. Anyway, the female asks me why I want to use the pass. I tell them I want possibly come back to this gym and that I wanted to see if there have been any improvements to the gym. The guy stops what he’s doing, and with an attitude, says ,”The only change they’ve had within the last year was new paint.” So then I ask, “So are you denying my pass?” and the both look at each other before telling me to just enter my information on a computer located on the opposite side of the counter. I enter my information and wait about 5 minutes before being acknowledged by the female. She begins to give me a tour of the place and I advise her that I already know the layout, and if she could tell me if anything has changed within the last year. She mentions they now have new bench press benches and a hip thrust machine, which is good thing. So I ask her if I could begin working out and she said no and continues to escort me to the second floor. It looks different and I noticed the new benches. So I ask again if I start could working out. She says no and that we have to go over some membership plans and what not. I only had 45 min total to work out, but by now, I was down to about 25. So I ask her if she’ll be there tomorrow cause I’d be glad to sit down with her to go over numbers the . She said yes, but there’s a whole process to getting a 3 day pass and it had to be done there that day. The fine print on the pass doesn’t mention anything about all this talk . She asks me for my ID, but I didn’t have it on me. I did however provide her with alternate ID’s proving I am who I am, including proof of my military veteran status. She didn’t accept either. I told her this was just a waste of time and left.
Long story short, there are way better gyms out there than this place — equipment-wise and staff-wise. I’m hoping the owner of this place reads this in order to do some major quality control. Don’t come here.
Old entry: The gym is okay. It could use a facelift though in regard to gym equipment, and it needs to go back to being open 24 hours. Early morning hours are the best times to go. Once you get into the afternoon/evening hours, the place gets too packed, making it difficult to use any equipment at all. If you want a better gym experience, try a different 24 Hour Fitness. Like the one in Yorba...
Read moreI came to this gym for the first time. I just moved to the area. That can only tell you thing that I’m skeptical since i don’t know anyone at this gym. I feel it’s more comfortable when you’re use to the environment. Well as soon as I walked in Marcos greeted me nicely. I informed him that I wasn’t aware of where I should go. He kindly walked me to the area where the staff sat and guided me through a door leading into the pool/ restroom On him instructing me on where to go. Brianna the MANAGER starts yelling while sitting with a customer. “Marcos return to your post” Marcos told her he was just walking me over so I know where I should go. The walking distance from his post to the door is less than 5 feet away. There was absolutely no reason for her to be yelling. We both looked at each other like is she serious? He continued to tell me where the equipment was and continued to guide me to the door. When yet again she starts yelling WHILE SITTING WITH A CUSTOMER! She said “Marcos I said return to you place you’re not supposed to walk her over” mind you there is nobody at the front door checking in so it’s not like he had other guest to attend. Seemed almost like a power trip in my eyes. I literally responded “ I’m new here he’s just showing me where to go” she completely turned her head and acted like I wasn’t talking at that point. This lady has no manners and proceeded to just embarrass herself and her staff like this. She made me feel so uncomfortable I haven’t returned I’d rather drive 15 min to my old gym because that was so uncalled for. I hope corporate sees this because that is unacceptable behavior. Two stars just cause Marcos was a nice person....
Read moreEverybody has an opinion these days. This gym gets me the basis of what I need. I walked in on my own, knowing what I wanted sat down with Jaylen 24 Hour instructor also team Member, who by the way is a great Personal Trainer (yes that's my up sale and no I don't work here, but did get a month trainer pack.) The manager Bri is wonderful and is currently out on maternity leave, Pete from Fullerton is covering her and he's just as friendly. This gym has new and old equipment and yes at times equipment is used so expect it to be scratched, chipped paint, or occasional rust. Lots of people use these workout tools and they also get cleaned by chemicals. The gym is always clean and in as orderly manner as can be for a gym. I like that it has a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The locker rooms are very adequate. I will say a little more cleaning can be done in the mens locker room toilet and urinal area. Also since Covid I guess the child care program has stopped and they've got a huge empty space selling minimal hydration beverages for workouts and snacks. This is probably the only suggestion I'd make to utilize that space more . The space has much more potential for revenue or an actual pop up supplement shop and seems to be forgotten about and its a eye sore to look at upon walking in. All in all this place is a 5 out of 5. P.s. if you know what you want when you come in like I did that's great. Of course they want you to sign up for everything and get the most expensive membership. Please be patient and let the Team Member go through the motions of it, it's just part...
