Java's Compost — Local services in Orange

Two years ago, I posted these words of review as shown below in the quote. In the world of business competition, businesses do change. However, Java's Compost continues to provide the most excellent service that is convenient for customers and excellent for the environment in my experience as a subscriber of the past nearly 6 years!! Those of us with a backyard often compost garden waste, but putting food scrape into the compost bin is always an invitation to animals, leaving it in the regular garbage cans, it is messy, smelly and environmentally unfriendly. Having the help from Java's, literally I only need to take out my garbage can one every two weeks at the most - so much unnecessary landfill saved. And I get composted rich fertilizer back in the spring planting season. In addition, they are always promptly responsive to my request! I utterly appreciate their valuable work. Thank you, Javas'!

I have so much gratitude for Java & Michelle and everyone who works at Java's Compost. I've been searching for a compost service in the area and at the time, they didn't service Morristown and I sent them an email, kindly asking if they were willing to service us as we were just over the Madison border. They said yes and I've been a happy customer since!

We also have our own composting at home but we're hesitant on composting meats & dairy which is why we're so grateful to have Java's Compost service to coincide with our at home compost. We've reduced our weekly garbage to less than 10 liters (a small plastic bag).

We scheduled an in-person compost lesson the other week where we got to meet Java. Such a great guy and really took the time to help us master our compost. I am so proud to be one of their customers. We will be getting our annual bucket of finished compost soon and I cannot wait.

Michelle and Java are making the world a better place with their company and great service. I have long minimized food waste by buying only what I need. But even throwing out the waste from cooking (carrot tops, peels, avocado pits, strawberry hulls etc) was bothering me. I wasn’t up for an open compost bin in my yard and was not sure I could handle my own compost at all. I wanted to just collect my food waste and it be taken away.
