This should be a zero-star review for Home Depot of Orange, CT.
They sell defective LG washers and dryers, and create problems for returns and replacements, see video of defective washer.
Both units in the stackable were defective:
The Home Depot warranty for these units is overpriced and unreliable. It goes through All State insurance, and they in turn hire a firm called Advance Solutions to try to repair the defective units, which is often impossible and only causes further delays.
But perhaps the worst part is that Advance Solutions hires more "independent subcontractors," so in the end you don't even know the identity of the individual coming to your house - which is absurd, ineffective and extremely dangerous.
In our case, the "independent subcontractor" showed up at 6 pm on a Friday. The guy's name was "Mark" - go figure - and he was absolutely angry about he fact that he had to work late on a Friday. He was totally under the influence, prepping for the weekend and completely out of control.
He wasn't trained at all, and was extremely confrontational and abusive with the customers. With all his anger, he created a dangerous situation in my house, and fortunately I was able to get him out only because 1) my spouse was also present on the premises and 2) I recorded everything on my cell phone.
The truth is, no paying customer should ever go through such a dangerous and abusive experience! Don't buy LGs at Home Depot Orange, and be careful about...
Read moreThis store is laid out like other Home Depots. The staff is relatively accessible and friendly, though not knowledgeable at all -- again, about on par with other Home Depots. The two star rating is because none of the aforementioned items are going to win any stars, and chiefly because online pickup fulfillment is beyond bad -- terrible. Unfortunately this has been true at every Home Depot where I've ever tried it. I've done it about half a dozen times at Home Depot Orange, with the following results:
It takes far, far too long (for example, order boxed item and wait three hours for them to take it off the shelf and slap a label with your name on it).
Items, especially small ones, are sometimes incorrect or not included
I've never had a large item correctly or promptly fulfilled. This includes a gas grill (tried to give me a floor model -- the wrong model; in fact they had a more expensive grill waiting for me, which I declined -- but I would have saved nearly an hour if I had taken it, as they had to track down a special machine to get the grill I had ordered off a high shelf), a circular saw (took hours, blade I'd purchased with was not there), and most recently, a cordless snow blower (they had left the floor model for me -- no manual, no batteries, no charger). Are you kidding me?
When at all possible, I go to the True Value in my town, but unfortunately the prices and selection get me coming back to Home Depot again and again. In 2017, a retailer of this size should have their online ordering in order. It's a true shame that Home Depot categorically...

My sister then confronted her and explained that she had cancer and didn’t want to embarrass from having the hair just fall out . My sister than proceeded to speak to a Young female Manager named Sam who was very polite and helpful . However Sam did not want to disclose the associates name for unknown reasons but as soon as my sister went to pay she called her by her name SARAH ! DO NOT GO THERE I WILL BEIN CALLING COROPRATE CAUSE THIS ULTIMATELY...
