Where do I start? Scheduled to have surgery so my dr called me in 6 medications. One was a narcotic. I was able to pick up 5 of them all at one time. Had to go back later for the narcotic. OK šš½šš½ no big deal. Gave my form of ID & payment, got my meds and went home. The next morning Iām looking over all the meds and notice the narcotic is OVER filled. Instead of a quant of 30 I have 41 in total. As I continue to look over the label I notice itās all kinds of wrong!š«£ the bottle has someone elseās name blacked out with a permanent marker, an address that isnāt mine, a doctor Iāve never heard of, and a quantity of 56 circled š«Ø. This is bad for the intended patient( who would have been missing 15 pills) and for me b/c now I have a narcotic in my possession which was prescribed but with ALL the wrong info. I took it back to the pharmacy demanding answers on how this was allowed to happen in the first place. The pharmacist, manager, & store manager all gave me this bogus excuse of a tech/student filled it and the pharmacist just ālookedā to make sure it was indeed the narcotic before filling it. The store manager instead of apologizing for negligence of the mishandling (possibly fraud) started trying to explain that if a medication sits too long and a customer doesnāt pick it up they will re use that medication to fill another patients prescription,,,that way medication is not wastedš³š¤Æ FIRST OF ALL Medications should never be handled that way; it's about patient safety, not Sorry, but back sealing or repurposing meds like that is not how it's done. No, that's not standard practice and raises serious concerns. Medications are tied to specific patients, and mixing them up like that is unacceptable. This store manger has no integrity WHATSOEVER. She even said to me ā well nothing happened to you, your fine and you have more pills. If it wouldāve been anybody else they wouldnāt have even brought them backā š¤Æš³I told her ā but I'm not everybody else. I did bring it back and I don't need extra medication.ā Count your medicine people and check that all your info is correct. Itās some pill heads working up there. I canāt pin point them,,, but they in the pharmacy & I think the store manager knows very well that this type of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just moved here from Houston six months ago and I always come to this Walgreens for either a pick up order or to shop in store for the great deals and Iāve never had a problem until today
I have to pay my Gas bill today so I needed to put cash on my cash app card and Walgreens was one of the stores that I was able to do that
There was one person out Items so he wasnāt able to help me while I stood at the register and there was another lady at the register and she walked towards me And I let her know that I was there to add cash to my cash app
She kept waving my phone in front of the scanner to try to pick up my barcode and I didnāt see a red light so the scanner wasnāt scanning so it looked like it needed to be pressed
I tried she was having difficulties and with an attitude, she said,ā Scanner isnāt picking up and now that you picked it up you knocked it offlineā With a whole attitude when I was just trying to be a helpful customer because it looked like she was having difficulties And I wasnāt even rude about it which is crazy
I am paralegal and licensed insurance agent and her attitude was really unacceptable as a customer and Iāve had doors slammed in my face and I donāt have a toured like this.
Training is for sure needed or she needs a job with more coworkers or a profession she enjoys working as Walgreens isnāt where she wants to be if customer service isnāt her arena.
I was having a good day and had a circumstance to pay a bill and she wanted to have an attitude not knowing who she is servicing. Thatās why you are to be kind and graceful no matter who you come across and as a customer service representative this is motto number one to be of...
