this place does not even deserve 1 star! when i made my appointment the lady on the phone asked me NOTHING except what i had on my nails before which i told her gel…. coming in for an appt at 1 i arrived 15min early.. for the girl to sit me down then proceed to ask what is on my nails she says dip right ? and i was like no? i said gel on the phone then she started using a tool to take it off… out comes a nail tech. who rudely tells me immediately that claudia does not have time for me today and will not be doing a design and all this other stuff! i was confused. she then proceeded to look at my nails saying oh she got dip then gel cover and i said no? i only got gel, where they told me i was wrong.. as im talking to this lady i ask if claudia is even here since we’re past my appt time and now have someone telling me she does not have time for my nails and no one could figure out what i got last time. even though i got it here!!!!! you would think they would take notes of this stuff…. claudia finally comes out then confirms it’s only gel. she told me i was put down for a dip and need to be more clear when making an appointment and i was confused again. you’d think being in this business you would be prompted to ask questions on everything they were looking for and wanting when making an appt. … i then showed her what i wanted and she said she could do it. going through the appointment her next client comes in when she started painting and you could tell she was rushing….. the lines were sloppy. she was making rude comments not only to me but the client next to her. come to the last line she made that was supposed to be yellow turned out to look booger green🤢 i asked her if it was green and she just said ya it has a cool tint to it right? and i just didn’t say anything. i asked her if she could go over it with an actual yellow so i could get what i asked for and then she started telling me how she can fix it but does not like her appointments overlapping then says it’s my fault for not mentioning things when j made my appointment and then again i was confused. i was not asked any detail for my appointment, how is there lack of professionalism my fault? she then proceeds to apologize to her next client because i was there… there is so much that could of been handled differently and would of resulted in a better outcome. but thanks to the lack of training, question asking and customer service. i paid $100 to have nails i completely hate! with sloppy lines and attitude behind them. i’m beyond disgusted by this place and will not be waisting my money here again. even feeling the nails they are bubbled, uneven and spotty. i am beyond...
Read moreIt takes me a lot to write a review, but I have decided to because at no time did the Manager/Owner apologize nor attempt to rectify the situation. My first visit for a shellac polish/pedicure was a debacle. The nail tech was really sweet, but could not understand my requests. She ended up cutting my toenails extremely short and then filing them all different, funky shapes. The polish was up on my toenail cuticles once finished. On to the nail shellac part. I only wanted shellac polish and she started doing a manicure. I didn't have time for a manicure, but again she couldn't understand me and vice versa. Once she finally started the shellac, it wasn't the correct color and I had to eventually communicate this to another nail tech. I was told "It's the right color but the bottle must be low or old." She insisted on adding more coats of it to try and make it match. Three additional coats later, it still didn't match. This is shellac, it must be soaked off to start over again and I did not have the time. Once again, polish all over my cuticles. Nails and toenails both looked awful. I quietly asked to speak with the Manager about my dissatisfaction and she was clearly irritated with me, the customer. In the end, another nail tech attempted to correct the situation and she did her best to make it look decent. I do appreciate her efforts. I ended up being there for approximately 2.5 hours for a routine shellac and pedicure (which takes about an hour). I had to rearrange my afternoon schedule while the poor quality work was being corrected. The best part, I was charged full price PLUS for a manicure service that I did not request. And my nails... (because so many shellac coats + a top coat was applied) peeled within a week. Moral of the story: IF you try this salon be very particular with your nail technician. To be fair, I do believe there are some good techs there as a few of my friends have been there with no issues. To the Manager: customer service is critically important. Mistakes happen, but how you handle those mistakes is what leaves the lasting impression on...
Read moreI usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share. I visited Polish for a pedicure as a first time customer and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
The technician was not gentle and ended up cutting my cuticle, which caused pain and bleeding. I also felt that the overall quality of the pedicure was not up to standard—uneven polish and poor attention to detail. The hot towels featured in the deluxe pedicure were on my legs for maybe 3 seconds? Not worth the upgrade price.
I understand that mistakes can happen, and my technician did try to apologize. At that point I would have left, but I was leaving for a trip the next day and needed to get my toes done. The front desk didn't seem to care to ask about my experience at all and just cared about finishing my transaction and getting me out the door.
Hygiene and care should be top priorities at any salon, and I didn’t feel that was the case here. There was a dog just free roaming the main floor (I'm guessing it belonged to the owner), which is unsanitary. I absolutely LOVE fur friends, but animals and their food bowls and crates do not belong in the salon.
Someone snoring in the back room loudly with the TV blasting was not the vibe I was going for. I won’t be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone based on my...
